Joyce Cheng accepted a radio interview with CRHK. She reveals that her debut album will release in October, there will be one Mandarin song written by her. She said: "This is my first song that I wrote the lyrics for. I used the computer to type out the Mandarin pinyin to write the lyrics and spent a week to complete. I was really afraid, but my company accepted it! In fact my boss told me to write 2 songs, I currently only have one." Joyce expressed that the easier time to get inspirations are during showers, unfortunately she is someone who has zero memory. One time I composed a good song while showering, but the moment I stepped out, I forgot it. She laughed: "So I am really bad at remembering lyrics, the scripts in series are better because there is someone there opposite of you."

Asked if she'll write a song for her late mother Lydia Shum? She said: "My Chinese has to get better first, I don't want it to be sloppy. (English lyrics?) Depends, sometimes the lyrics I write aren't the best. I already wrote one, will have to save up a period of time before my Chinese gets better." She said that although her Chinese has improved, there are still some Chinese characters she still has to rely on the pinyin.

Louis Koo, Sean Lau, Daniel Wu, Betty Wang and Michelle Ye attended the press conference for new film Overheard II. In the film, Louis appears with grey hair and grows a bread, looking 'old'. The director and screenwriter Felix Chong joked that to fight against 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy, he added a bed scene for Sean and Betty. Sean said: "Not to worry, the director won't do excessive bed scenes, but will still be a very good watch." This time, Sean plays a stock speculator rich businessman. Daniel plays a retired soldier.

Although Louis is troubled by his foot injury, he still going to shoot the film. He said: "Because I can't run, I won't be able to shoot pursuit scenes, but I still insist on not using a substitute." He expressed that earlier when he was shooting a car chasing scene, he carelessly crashed the car: "At the time I was turning and crashed, fortunately nothing happened to me or the car. Later I have a bomb explosion scene on the busy streets with Daniel. But if my condition isn't well, I will take a break for physical therapy." After completing Overheard II, Louis will immediately head to Shangri-la to shoot another film High Altitude Romance II with Sammi Cheng at the end of the month."

Michelle Ye and Louis plays a married couple, but she gets betrayed by her husband Louis and goes to jail. Asked if in reality she had been betrayed by a boyfriend before? Michelle said: "I have been betrayed by my ex-boyfriend before, but many times because of work I was unsure, perhaps it was faithful to the relationship, but was betrayed in terms of work. So this script was written very well." Michelle smiled and said that in reality she will have to see how much she loves the person before she decides if she should return to him (reconcile with ex-boyfriend). She also expressed that earlier she was rehearsing with Louis, but because she got too into it she couldn't stop crying.

Keeps mouth shut, won't talk about TVB's new boss

When speaking of her past rumors with 'Shell King' Chan Kwok Keung, now that he's the new boss at TVB, Michelle heard the name and did not want to talk about it. Asked if she still has a contract with TVB? She said: "No. (Has TVB invited her back to shoot series?) This is a business secret. I feel it doesn't matter what company I shoot series for as long as the script is good. I treat everyone equally." When reporters mentioned Chan Kwok Keung entering TVB again, Michelle said instantly: "I don't want to talk about unrelated things, it's not good to talk about people I don't know."

A few days ago, Chilam Cheung and Sandra Ng arrived in Vietnam for a charitable visit. They bought a great amount of stationery items to give as a gift to the local children living in the mountain area. Chilam also advocated his fatherly love and had some fun with the children there. He witnessed the children line up to get their gift, making him very touched: "Although they are poor, every one of them are very polite and understands how to appreciate."

Chilam made a special trip to get an understanding of one of the local child's vision problem. He followed the doctor into the operation room and directly witnessed a child undergoing a surgery to correct their vision. It was a memorable experience for him: "Before I entered the operation room, I was already mentally prepared. I couldn't believe, I personally witnessed a child half in anesthesia on the surgical bed. The doctor was continuously injecting medication on the child's bloody eyeball. That feeling gave me the goosebumps, I was about to vomit when I saw it. It was hard to take mentally." Because the process is not what an average person can bear, Chilam was later praised to have the courage. He hopes to capture a clip of the experience, so everyone can be able to wake up and face any problems that comes about.

Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu sparked love after shooting a series together in 2005. Since then, their relationship got more and more stable. The two would often appear in public events as a couple team to earn money together. Even if they were rumored last year to have broken up, eventually they got back together. Earlier Bosco and Myolie went in a pair to Mainland to shoot for a new series. In the series, they play a couple and got to take the 'real sign' out for 'acting, but real feeling'. This took their relationship up a notch.

Recently the two returned to HK and continued to be a sticky pair of lovers. The other night at approximately 8pm, the two met up for a date in downtown Causeway Bay. They completely didn't mind that their relationship floats to the surface, and took the advantage to strongly boost Myolie's current airing series. Clearly, Bosco was dressed carefully, wearing a hat and black framed glasses, but Myolie was more relaxed in her dressing. The two were also accompanied by another female friend into the I.T store.

When Bosco was picking out the new clothes, his 'girlfriend' was often by his side giving him opinions. Later, when Myolie was trying out shoes, she and her 'boyfriend' discussed it together. After 30 minutes, Bosco and Myolie left the store and realized that they were followed by reporters. Myolie immediately put her head down to cover her face and hid behind boyfriend. On the other hand, Bosco smiled at reporters. When they were crossing the street, the pair had their friend in between them, but it was seen that Bosco couldn't help but to take a glance at his girlfriend. Myolie also was full of feelings, and smiled sweetly.

The group went to another store and continued to shop. Soon after, Myolie left the store with a huge bag, when she was leaving, she waved at reporters. Bosco expressed to reporters: "We are leaving!" Then left in a taxi.

[Oriental Daily] contracted Bosco yesterday and when speaking of him going on a shopping date with Myolie, he said: "We were just shopping for clothes together and even gave opinions on the styles. It's because I have a lot of promotions to do later, I will be a guest at Grasshopper's game show, then promote for the new series and will also be going on JSG. Also, I was in Mainland shooting in the earlier months, so I especially went shopping for the seasonal change. (Going with Myolie on Grasshopper's game show as a couple team?) No, actually we exchange opinions on our fashion views. Friends can help look, so we met up to go together." When Bosco was asked if they wanted to take the opportunity to announce their relationship? He laughed: "No, No."

Since Charmaine Sheh's TVB contract expires in May this year, it was rumored that she decided to head off to Mainland to develop her career, accepting a 15 million yuan offer for 2 years. Yesterday Charmaine responded to the rumor, she expressed that the situation is not clear yet, when she does make her final decision, she will announce it. Is someone using the 15 million yuan silver bullet policy to 'steal Sheh'? She said that the price is not her main consideration, she is more focused on the direction of her future development, that is the most important factor in her consideration.

TVB Executive Virgina Lok denied over the phone that TVB used 10 million to convince her to stay. Virgina said: "In fact, we are still discussing. If she really does leave, she can still shoot series with us. Like Sheren Tang or Ada Choi. (TVB personally pushed her to fame, will it be a pity?) Not a pity, actually in the industry, little is drawn by TVB." Also, Virgina denied that Charmaine's series When Heaven Burns was taken out of the schedule because TVB wanted to save it for the anniversary series, so she can get pushed up for TV Queen.

A Fish Won't Get Fat If It Doesn't Leave The Pond

Ex-TVB artist Felix Wong supported Charmaine on Weibo yesterday with the words: "A Fish Won't Get Fat If It Doesn't Leave The Pond". He said that there could be more opportunties, but the excellent opportunity may not happen. There was once a senior that gave Felix those same words. Felix now hopes that these words could also be useful to Charmaine, telling her to really consider it. Charmaine responded to Felix saying that she will put in her greatest efforts to repay the people who supported her and had expectations for her.

Recently Yoyo Mung and Kevin Cheng collaborated in a TVB new series (Only You). It turns out that this pair of old partners just recently broke the ice, getting so familiar with each other that they are now close friends. They mutually exchange their views on love.

Without hiding anything, Yoyo reveals that she collaborated with Kevin in Split Second and Last One Standing before, but it was only until the recent Only You that they got to know each other.

Yoyo said: "Perhaps he's passive and I'm passive too. We both have like a wall in between us, until now that we broke it. If it wasn't for Kristal Tin helping us take the first step, we may not have been able to break the wall. But actually, Kevin and I are the same type of people, he is very direct and will talk about anything. He doesn't have bad intentions, nor does he like making news, so this series helped us get to know each other more, I am very pleased."

Besides getting along well with her partner, Yoyo is also very satisfied with the script. She said: "I play a middle-aged Hong Kong girl that can't get married. The script has a lot of touching parts, like the line 'we need a marriage, not a wedding', is something worth to think back on. In the past, I had the same feeling as my role in the series, I didn't have a sense of security, and would ask my boyfriend what plans we have. Later, I realized that men don't like to talk about plans even if they had one. (Does Ekin have plans?) In fact, the course of events is the most important. Whether or not you enter the church has no meaning, what I wish for the most is good health. During the new year, I was vomiting and running a fever. I didn't want to be admitted to the hospital on the first day of Chinese New Year, so I tried to withstand it. Then suddenly Ekin said 'play Kinect, good to get all the sweat out.' Before I would think: 'Does he not like me?'. Now I try to appreciate, this is considered a pretty cute experience."

Compared to Yoyo's love experience, Kevin is still seeking, he said: "I am already 40 years old, my mom gave up on forcing me into marriage. I only want to have a child, but I still haven't met a match yet. I don't want to split in or out of the industry, I am just looking for a match. At my age, if I'm dating, I want to get married and have children. I just want this one time to be the one that I live until old with. To be with a person who is not compatible is impossible!"

It was said that Kate didn't do her homework and would often NG during shooting. Kate calmly denied, she said she's a serious artist, for the Lunar New Year period she worked everyday despite being ill. Also, she did all her preparations before, Kate said: "Nothing is true on the report! That day, we were shooting at 6am, it was very cold and windy. It was because the wind messed up my hair that I NGed, it's human nature. (Do you have a lot of NGs?) Not considered a lot! (Difficult lines to say?) I play a police officer, mostly responsible for investigating cases. I think Wayne has harder lines because he's a forensics chemist."

Wayne also supported that every artist memorized their lines, otherwise they would be 'dead'! He said: "The collaboration this time is very enjoyable, everyone of us are young men and women! (Kate NGs a lot?) In fact, we all NGed because the script is difficult, cannot say one word wrong! I am talented, but I don't dare to put up the talent wave, even I NGed! Broke my golden sign board too!"

Ron Ng lost his iPad
As for Ron, he expressed that he lost his iPad. It happened when he was in the restroom at TVB City. He left the iPad on the side of the sink and didn't realize until the next day. Asked if he's afraid of leaking out his intimate photos? He said: "No photos on there! (Photos with ex-lover?) I didn't date at all before buying the iPad. My memories are stored in my brain. In fact, the most valuable thing on it is the script. I will have to trouble someone to help me download it again."

Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu went to the States for stage performances during the Lunar New Year. Besides earning 6 figures for the performance, the red envelope lucky money was also not bad. Kevin thanked his hat for the help, he received nearly 200 red envelopes and beat Myolie. The best part is that when he went to the casino, he bumped into luck and washed away the black luck. Before when he went to gamble, he would always lose, but this time he won a several hundrew US dollars. After being lucky over the Lunar New Year period, he did not forget to share with Myolie, so they can be lucky together.

Before Kevin and Myolie departed to the U.S. for the stage performances, they had bet to see who would get the most red envelopes. Because Kevin was shooting a Mainland series and had to have his head shaved, he put on a hat to cover up the bad bald look. Unexpectedly, in the end it was all because of the hat that won him the bet. At the time he said: "Are you ready? If you're ready, Myolie and I are coming down." He and Myolie went off the stage to shake hands with audience, the audience were all prepared to give out red envelopes to them. As the audiences were very enthusiastic, Kevin immediately took off his hate to collect the red envelopes in it. He describes the night as the time he got the most red envelopes. Kevin was so exaggerated that the hat wasn't enough to hold his red envelopes, so he took a laundry bag to hold them all in.

Myolie said: "On the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, the atmosphere at Los Angeles was very lively, Kevin used his hat to collect the red envelopes and got more than me. He won! I got about US$600 worth of red envelopes. After the stage performances, I stayed for two more days and went shopping at the local stores. I bought 3 hats, it's unlucky to buy hats on new years, but nothing is taboo for me. I also bought a lot of new clothes, and eventually I had to buy another suitcase before heading back to HK. (Did you spend any of your earnings from the stage performance?) No, I didn't earn any money, but Kevin won several hundred US dollars, he woke up and gave me $100. Lucky Money has good meaning." She also said it was very cold there, especially in Canada, the temperature was -20 degrees like a huge refrigerator. When I went back to the hotel, there was a big waterfall, although the water was frozen, it had another type of beauty. Besides that, she also went to the Hollywood landmark to take pictures for memories. and got a taste of the local seafood. She reveals that the sea urchin that she ate was as long as a finger and was round, just speaking of it makes her drool.

Kevin expressed his new year's wish is for a smooth year. He also visited relatives while he was in the States, rare opportunity to have a family reunion during new years.

TVB FaDans are getting fewer and fewer. Charmaine Sheh entered TVB in 1997 and finally decided that she will not renew her contract when it expires in May, breaking the 14 year relationship. Earlier, Charmaine went to Mainland to shoot series, and caught the attention of a Mainland producer offering her 15 million yuan for two years. Compared to TVB's HK$20,000 per episode, there is a huge difference. In addition, there are many Mainland rich men that are pursuing her. Having a new place for her career and love life, the 35 year old Charmaine decided to leave her 'maternal home' (TVB) and head north to develop.

It was understood that Charmaine gets paid HK$20,000 per episode in a TVB series, but going up north to shoot a series, she gets a 5 level jump in price, the Chinese yuan is easy to earn. Also, Charmaine's TVB management contract is ending in May, and it's of great importance for TVB to convince Charmaine to stay. TVB Executive Virgina Lok already started discussing the contract with Charmaine last October, but unfortunately there was no news that they will take a step forward, so Charmaine was unwilling to sign the contract renewal. Eventually, she ended up losing the TV Queen title to Sheren Tang at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

TVB offers 10 million for 2 years

At an event earlier, Charmaine generously admitted that she and TVB are discussing of a contract renewal, and blurted out: "The Mainland market is huge, there is a need of many artists. The salary for shooting Mainland series are also very high." It was said TVB wanted to foster this biological daughter and spared no expense offering her 10 million for a 2 year contract, but this price still differed from the Mainland producer's offer. No wonder Charmaine delayed on picking up the pen to sign the contract.

Faked the injury?

Although TVB tried all they could and offered a generous price to keep Charmaine, she clearly already made her decision, so she suggested some contract conditions that a basically hard for TVB to accept, then TVB can back up. Charmaine is not afraid of losing TVB, last month she borrowed her arm injury to withdraw from Miu Siu Ching's Forensic Heroes III. Charmaine said herself she need a break for 6 weeks for medical treatment and was afraid to hold up the filming schedule, so she withdrew. However, earlier when Charmaine was out on the streets, her left arm seem pretty flexible and really not as serious as she described. For this reason, rumors started that she didn't want to shoot the series, so she faked her injury.

Initially When Heaven Burns was scheduled to release in April, but it was recently taken out of the schedule and replaced with Michael Tse's Relic of an Emissary .

Besides the money, Charmaine also hopes to find her Mr. Right soon. In fact, she currently has many rich men from Mainland pursuing her. Until now, she still have not chosen one. Since there are new developments in both her career and love life, so she decided to give it a try.

The day before over the phone, Virgina Lok responded: "We are really still discussing. She suggested some conditions, we are considering it." Yesterday reporters contacted Charmaine to confirm, but she has not responded.

The new TVB game show Gorgeous Star Competition (華麗明星賽) hosted by the band, Grasshopper was recording for it's first episode last night and invited Wayne Lai, Anita Yuen, Christine Ng, and Michael Wong as the guests. The stars all dressed up to meet their enemies head on. On stage, they battle with all the Chok looks, Wayne joked that he's in the idol group and that his Chok look can compare to Raymond Lam. Anita Yuen was too into the game that her top started sliding off, she quickly pulled it back up.

The game show is focused on the theme of being gorgeous, the hosts are the three Grasshopper members Remus Choi, Calvin Choi and Edmond So. They battled among themselves, in gorgeous clothing and bickering. Remus and Calvin invited Christine and Anita respectively as guests, Edmond's guests came in two - Wayne and Michael. Calvin teased that they were afraid the show won't have enough weight.

The show started off with a game for warm-up. The guests had to follow the music and a number sequence to pose in front of the 8 cameras in the studio. They played very openly. Wayne posed for a very Chok look, while Christine pretended as if she's a model doing a catwalk and even took off her coat to reveal some meat with a grimace expression on her face. Because Anita's poses were too exaggerated, her top started to slip off. She quickly pulled it up and appeared in a troubled situation, she joked: "If my top wasn't like that, I would have got them all! (the camera sequence)" Results, Wayne and Christine got 7 of the camera sequences. Wayne gave a Chok pose and looked very into it, he laughed: "I've always been Chok! (More than Raymond Lam?) I think we're about the same, I'm currently in the idol group!"

In the next game, Michael sang an English song, Wayne saw this and joked: "Let me sing The Flying Dagger to counterattack you." Michael then changed to sing Love For A Star (游龍戲鳳) and a Thai song to get him back. It was a hilarious scene.

The next game had three different red wines worth three different prices. The guests will have to choose the most expensive one. Michael doesn't know how to drink red wine, so he used his nose to smell it. Anita teased him because of this: "Tseung Kwan O's Police Dog!" In the end, no one was able to guess the most expensive wine, which was worth HK$50,000. Anita and Christine were unwilling to admit to lost, Anita said the good wine had a salted fermented oil taste, and Christine felt the wine went bad, expired.

The guests were also tested for the 'The Star of Tomorrow'. Wayne felt that the most important is outer appearance, the ability to look out for yourself is the next.

Anita wants a natural pregnancy, no IVF
Also, a magazine exposed that Anita is picking a lucky day to have a daughter. She said that she personally goes pay respects to the Tai Shui and definitely have wishes when entering the temple. However, having a baby is left for the heavens to decide, let nature take its course. She hopes to enjoy the whole process, and don't want to use other methods to conceive. It's just her husband Chilam Cheung is busy, she laughed: "Could it be possible for parthenogenesis?" (TN: Parthenogenesis - asexual reproduction, embryos form without fertilization)

Yesterday the 17th HK Film Critics Award Presentation was held . Pop Queen Miriam Yeung was named Film Queen for the first time depended on her role in the film Perfect Wedding and received the award from Johnnie To's hands. She was so emotional of her victory that she teared up. She sobbed out her feelings about the win. Miriam said that she can finally confirm her actress status. Besides hard work from an artist, it is rare that someone would 'give the opportunity'.

Upon receiving her award, Miriam teared up, she was stiffed as she said: "Very scared, why am I so scared? No reason, there is no reason an overage would feel so emotionally happy. As a singer turned actress, it's even more about salesmanship. Every time I perform, it is an opportunity to learn. Before when I was young, I didn't know, I did not understand the film knowledge. Fortunately the other actors and behind-the-scenes were able to tolerate me. In addition to being hardworking, an artist needs someone to give them that opportunity, that is the hardest to come. Thanks to all those who gave me the opportunity for me to improve. The HK Film Critics confirmed my actress status. This is something I wanted to do in the last several years, I will continue to be hard working, give me the opportunity! I am not expensive, I can negotiate!"

Later, Miriam frankly said that she never thought she'll get this much encouragement from the award. She felt that after winning the award, she gained more confidence in taking on different types of films. As far as her price offer, can she really be negotiable? She said: "In private life, there is often negotiations, just have to get through the company first. If the company doesn't object, then it's fine. For a good script and charity, I don't mind doing voluntarily work for no pay." She was so happy she held the award tightly and did not want to let go, and expressed that she will be holding this award all day long.

Currently airing series The Rippling Blossom is the recent TVB series that possesses beautiful scenery. Because Tavia Yeung went to Furano, Otaru, Sapporo, Hakodate and other places in Japan for the series shooting, she now wants to go to Tokyo the most because it is a shopping paradise. However, Otaru is the place that Tavia fell in love with because it gives her a romantic feeling!

Because shooting The Rippling Blossom, the crew made a special trip to Hokkaido for outdoor scenes. First time stepping into Hokkaido, Tavia shouted: "So blessed!" She laughed: "Hokkaido's scenery is simply beautiful, no words can describe it. Although the weather was very cold when we were shooting, but it was no obstacle to feel happy." Besides the beautiful scenery, Tavia also greatly praised the gourmet food there. Her favorites were the seafood and fruits, which had a very fresh taste. So she ate, ate and ate with all her might, gaining a few pounds during the course of filming.

Dip in hot springs under a snowscape is the best

Besides shooting, of course Tavia took advantage of the opportunity to have some time for her own leisure. During the time, she and Myolie Wu had a hot spring scene, where they had the opportunity to taste the feeling of dipping in a relaxing hot spring. If she had the opportunity, she wants to bring her mom to experience the hot springs under a snowscape.

Memorable Fish Markets

As the plot involves food, the crew is often shooting in the fish markets and this was an unforgettable experience for Tavia. She said: "Honestly, I haven't had the opportunity to go to the fish markets in Hong Kong. A rare chance that I'm in Japan, I was able to go to the local fish markets there, it felt very interesting." Although Hokkaido had beautiful scenery, her first choice is still Otaru because it has a very romantic snowscape. If a couple went there, it would definitely be a romantic 'melt'. Asked when she'll bring a boyfriend to experience the romantic place? She laughed out loud: "Before I couldn't go because I didn't have a boyfriend. When I do get one, I will tell everyone. Haha."

Beautiful scenery is in front, but because the Japanese Yen is continuously rising, Tavia will have to temporarily give up her favorite shopping paradise and remain in Hong Kong to give them some support. She said: "HK fashion is pretty hot and has variety, also the prices are popular, it is a shoppers paradise after all."

The ex-rumored pair Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh collaborated once again in TVB new series Flower Sister Flower World last October. Since the completion of filming last year, it has not been announced when the series will air. The series isn't even scheduled to air yet, and already large numbers of photos from the series leaked and circulated online. Some of the pictures are the dating scenes between Charmaine and Raymond. Another set of photos reveals Raymond in a leopard tank-top wearing a tiger cartoon hat. The photos were continuously being circulated on Weibo. On the discussion forums, fans are discussing where the photos might have leaked from, some fans predicted that the photos were purchased.

TVB investigating for the mole

Yesterday reporters contacted Flower Sister's Producer (Kwan Wing Chung) to confirm. He reveals that approximately two weeks ago, a Raymond fan called TVB and expressed that they discovered the photos posted online. Producer Kwan said the scene from the photos were filmed in the studio, absolutely not photos secretly taken from outdoor filming and therefore 'outsiders' are eliminated as the culprit. To catch the culprit, the issue has already been passed to a responsible party to investigate. However, there are no news of where the photos were leaked from yet. He said: "In the recent year, Raymond often plays the professional roles, so this time the photos catches attention. The scene was about Raymond being chased by debt collectors, and was forced to take sexy photos for an adult magazine. Because it was necessary for the scene, we made an actual magazine cover, the photos were passed to the assistant director, the computer department and the artist department. The photos went through so many people, but we're still investigating." He expressed that he does not know when the series will air: "Wait until Raymond comes back and can match a schedule (for promotions) first."

TVB Foreign Affairs Director (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed that according to normal procedures, two weeks before a series airs, the Foreign Affairs Department will release the series photos. This is the first time that there was a photo leakage, so it cannot be denied that there may be a 'mole' internally within TVB. Asked if the culprit is found, will legal action be taken? He expressed that it depends. If it was done for personal benefit, then it will not be tolerated and will get to the bottom of the issue. If Raymond fans wanted to help their idol promote, then they won't be accounted for. Raymond's manager expressed TVB is investigating the case and reserve the right to take legal action.

Denounces 'harm others without gaining anything'

Raymond is currently in Taiwan shooting for an MV for his Mandarin album. Towards the incident, Raymond feels unhappy, initially that scene was suppose to be a surprise for audience. Now that Netizens seen it ahead of time, it really spoiled the creators' hard efforts. He said: "In fact, these kind of situations happen often, but just this time it is more serious. (Fans said that the photos were purchased!) Well I'm not sure about that." As for Charmaine, she urged that people should not do harmful things for personal benefit, she said: "I hope this doesn't happen again. Every series spends a lot of resources. Before the official release of the series, nothing can be leaked. It is a great lost to both TVB and the artists. I hope TVB can face the issue and found out the truth."

Toby Leung said: "I heard of this leakage incident and felt shocked. But Charmaine and Raymond are so popular, many people want to get a first look at their appearance in the series. Raymond's jumpy tiger look is pretty cute!"

A month ago because Amigo Chui was caught drinking and driving, his license was suspended. Severely damaging his image, TVB cut all his jobs, but he still has several years left in his contract. TVB executive Virgina Lok persuades him to change to behind-the-scenes work.

Virgina said: "I talked to Amigo earlier over the phone about this way out and to get the details of his disposition. He has talent, and it will be a waste if he doesn't be in this industry. However, he affected himself. Honestly speaking, it is not possible for him to have a glamorous life (artist life) in the short run. He is still young, he should try to switch over to behind-the-scenes work, even start from the bottom and work his way up. (TVB giving him an opportunity?) Not TVB giving him the opportunity, it is the fact that audience won't accept him. If audience accepts him, we can give him work, but getting complaints will just ruin him."

Has Virgina heard back of Amigo's decision? She said: "He needs some time to think about it, hope he can go think of it proactively. I am meeting with him next week to discuss about the matter. (Ask for Stephen Chan's advice?) Didn't discuss with him, nor did he come discuss with me."

Yoyo Mung, Kevin Cheng, Kristal Tin, Evergreen Mak and the other 12 cast members to TVB new series Only You attended the promotional event.

When Yoyo appeared with Kevin Cheng in a wedding dress, she was teased by the other cast members as 'Mrs. Cheng'. When Yoyo appeared, Claire Yiu shouted: "Ekin Cheng! Mrs. Cheng!", Yoyo smiled sweetly in response. Kevin played along too, during the marriage oath he said: "I Cheng...Ka Wing wishes all the couples out there to get marry soon." Yoyo said: "I Do!" Then the 'grooms' took turns to carry their 'brides'.

Later, Yoyo was asked if she's in a hurry to be Mrs. Cheng? She said: "Don't say it like that, turns out that wearing a wedding dress is quite difficult. When I get married, I like to keep it simple and not too extravagant. That is if I really can get marry. I feel that I should hope for a marriage, and not a wedding. I hope my future wedding dress will be both black and white in color, but some people say it's unlucky. I'll just think about it when the time comes."

Natalie Tong's ex-lover Amigo Chui was told by Virgina Lok to change and work behind-the-scenes. She said: "We don't keep in touch. I think it's like running a marathon, may fall down in the middle, but it's important to get back up and help yourself. Give him some time, every person will have a period where they feel lost. (Do you believe he can work from bottom-up?) It is not important where he starts working from, what's important is to find a path for himself. I cannot help him because I am still in the race."

Regarding the rumors that Kevin and Charmaine Sheh sparked again, he said: "Don't believe in the magazines, we have always been good friends. I also sent a New Years greeting message via SMS on Lunar New Year to her." When asked if Charmaine is his cup of tea? He said it's hard to say, feelings are most important. Kevin also joked that he's Ekin's substitute and told Ekin not to worry, Yoyo is very light and can do pictures while carrying her for a long time.

The finale of TVB series 7 Days In Life aired last night. The series premiere started airing during the Lunar New Year period with no special response from the public. Unexpectedly, towards the end of the series reached a peak because of Joesph Lee's suspected indecent exposure. Yesterday on the discussion forums, Netizens posted photos from one of Joseph's scenes in episode 15, where he appeared naked, revealing his 'two dots' (nipples). Netizens were hunting down the shadow of the mysterious 'third dot' (referring to the penis) because he was suppose to be completely nude.

In this scene, the kidnapper Joesph was showering when he discovers that the kidnapped boy played by Coleman Tam was released by Kaka (Mimi Lo). Joseph immediately wrapped a large towel around himself and chased after Kaka and Coleman. Because Kaka wanted to stop him from capturing Coleman again, she stole his towel. This resulted in Joesph appearing completely naked, and relied only on a small wash towel to cover his private parts.

A Netizen discovered that when Joseph took the wash towel to cover himself, he was suspected to have flashed (indecent exposure) on screen. Netizens screen captured the scene and shared it on discussion forums and Youtube. There was also a message left on TVB.com "Bor Jai (Joesph's character) had an indecent exposure, truly sacrificing for performing arts! But how come TVB didn't cut it..." A more rational Netizen felt that Joesph couldn't have had something underneath to do the scene and suspects that it's just a shadow of the finger he used to grab the wash towel. Looking deeper into the screen captures, the 'move' is reasonable. There was also someone who praised 11th Brother (Joesph's character in Virtues of Harmony) to be very professional, sacrificing for performing arts...this episode got an increase of 180,000 clicks. Many people are curious of that scene and out of curiosity wants to investigate that indecent exposure too.

Happy to be praised sacrificed for performing arts

Reporters contacted Joesph on this matter, and personally explained the mysterious indecent exposure. He said: "I have also heard Netizens discuss about this hot indecent exposure topic. This is a 'beautiful' misunderstanding. I am really sorry to have disturb everyone, wasting their strength of vision. I am very certain that I did not expose indecently on screen. During the shooting process, I had on underwear and boxers. I feel gratified that people think that I appeared completely naked, and that I caught everyone's attention. It also proves that my acting was effective."

Some Netizens saw the mysterious 'third dot' shadow? Joseph said he had not seen the version online yet, but believes it's just a lighting problem that caused the misunderstanding. When they were shooting that scene, they NGed several times because his boxers were shown. Joesph said that when he received the script, he was also having a headache for two days thinking how he can give off an impression that he was completely naked and do it effectively. When it was time to shoot, he had on underwear and very short pants, and when he took the wash towel to cover himself up, it looked like bullfighting. There were many times during shooting that his short pants were showing, so he changed into boxers. The female artists and colleagues also present at the scene will have to watch him walk around in the studio in his boxers, it was already an unpleasant sight, so how can he go completely nude? He laughed: "Shooting films and going nude on the front end also needs tape, the TV scale is even more restricted, can't be that open. Also shooting in Tseung Kwan O's ocean area, there are lots of mosquitoes biting you, cannot go nude." Joesph said this was a 'beautiful' misunderstanding and feels happy to have strike remembrance for his own performance, attracting thoughts on how he's sacrificing for performing arts.

Reporters watched the clip of that scene again, and felt that the suspected 'indecent exposure' camera shot was just the shadow of Joesph's finger. When he was taking the towel to cover his important part, his finger was under the light and resulted in a shadow that became the so-called 'third dot'.

vIn the last year, TVB series has been suspected of plagiarizing other series. Didn't expect that even the new year series The Rippling Blossom starting Michael Tse and Chilam Cheung would get accused by Netizens of plagiarism. Netizens said that the sushi competitions and the brother quarrel scenes resemble Japanese drama Shota no Sushi and Korean drama Gourmet.

The plot describes Michael and Chilam as two brothers operating a sushi restaurant business and meets an opponent. During a sushi competition, Michael was defeated and goes to Hokkaido to start all over. Later, he discovers that he underestimated Chilam because he actually was actually a natural talent. Because of Michael's jealousy, the brothers' relationship ruptures.

Coincidentally, in a 1996 Japanese drama Shota no Sushi adapted from the manga is also about a sushi chef who grew up in Hokkaido. The sushi chef was also defeated in a sushi competition and went to Tokyo to become more skillful. Korean drama Gourmet is a story about two brothers becoming attached to food, later when the little brother's identity is cleared up, the brothers sink into a situation where they fall out.

Towards the Rippling being accused of plagiarism, Producer (Chong Wai Kin) denied over the phone, he said: "Intellectually it is identical, but the idea there is no need to copy. There are always competitions in the series, does Shoto have the identity mystery like Rippling? Does it have Michael Tse?" Netizens said Michael is too serious, often having a nasty look on his face. Producer Chong laughed: "Don't accuse him, that is the character design, his character is not smile much.
