After Amigo Chui got involved in assaulting ex-girlfriend Elizabete Kwong, he has temporarily stopped all his jobs and avoided the Media. Recently news leaked that under Stephen Chan's arrangements, he went to visit Haiti for the earthquake disaster relief in hope for an "image clean up" before his comeback.
Yesterday Stephen Chan attended the promotional event for the new program [Stephen 'Valentine's Day' First Choice] where Wong He served as the MC. Wong He was frequently teased by Stephen for his poor performance as an MC sarcasticly. Wong He said: "I admit I am not as good as Amigo Chui, I am just secondary." Stephen explained Amigo's reason for absence: "Amigo is still hasn't overcome his psychological barriers and is not used to meeting people. After the incident, he has lost his sense of security and does not dare to trust anyone that easily. He is going through signs of depression and refuses to go out and see people. However, he has improved a bit recently. As someone who can listen to his troubles, I am able to help him relieve his anxiety."
Stephan said that there are no set plans for his comeback yet. As for the news about visiting Haiti for charity work, he clarifies Amigo's loving heart: "Even before the incident, he already had plans to visit places in Africa suffering from poverty. He plans to start March of this year and will be back for a promotional event at the end of May. Amigo does not want to hold a press conference deliberately to clarify the incident, everything had been left to the police to take care of, and secondly he doesn't want to hurt anyone."
