At the event, 5 winners of the Creative Slogan contest were announced and received an invitation by Luk Fook to attend the award ceremony. The winners got to get close interaction with Raymond. Last year after the exposure of his sister's marriage, it was said that Raymond was rushed into marriage too by his family members. When reporters asked to confirm, Raymond frankly said he was not rushed nor arranged for any blind dates: "That was just what everyone guessed, perhaps because my sister is experiencing much happiness, I like to let nature take its course." As Luk Fook's spokesperson, will he give a girlfriend Luk Fook's jewelries? Raymond expressed that of course he will, last year during the holidays he gave his mom and sister jewelry: "Because rings are not to be given out to just any girl, I usually choose bracelets or necklaces for girls. Rings have a special place inside."
Unsure if Charmaine is leaving TVB or not
Recently most of TVB's news are consider big, TVB Fadan Charmaine Sheh may not renew her contract after it expires because there is a Mainland company that invited her over for 15 million under a 2 year contract. It was rumored that the reason Charmaine is thinking of leaving TVB is because she has a rich man's pursuit in Mainland. Towards the rumors, Raymond expressed that he is unsure: "I only heard of Charmaine's news through the HK media at the events I attended in HK earlier, the details I am not sure. But, last year when I was shooting Flower Sister Flower World with Charmaine, we agreed on collaborating on another series this year. Lately because I've been on a busy schedule, I haven't been in touch with her." As to the changes within TVB executives? "Executive changes do not affect us artists much. Take me for example, my work schedule has already lined up to the end of this year, including my concert tour, Mandarin album, HK Coliseum concert in July and a new film in August. It can be said that there is no affect on me at all."
TVB has it's own value, not about the salary
In 2011, TVB is experiencing many changes in artists, many are no longer contracted with TVB like Sammul Chan and Wong He. Now there is even Charmaine Sheh who may leave too, for many the reason is because of TVB's salary issues. In the last few years, several TVB artists are often going out to Mainland to dig the gold, which explains that the Mainland salary is very attractive to TVB artists, is it because of the salary issues that so many are leaving? Raymond felt that it cannot be viewed like that: "Maybe TVB's salary does not compare to Mainland salaries, but every company has it's own value. The reason we have so many outside jobs is all because of TVB series that brought us the audience fate. Without this foundation, there will not be the us today. TVB actually had always took good care of us, and didn't limit us on outside jobs in Mainland, giving us lots of space. I feel that every person has this same thought, at least I feel that it's not about the salary." Raymond said he has had good collaborations and good relationship TVB, therefore he does not plan to leave.
