Metro Radio's annual Metro Radio Mandarin Hits Music Awards 2011 was held last night. Singers from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia all gathered together for the awards ceremony. Last night, Metro Radio presented a total of 98 awards. Eason Chan and Joey Yung both won 3 awards and were the biggest winners of the night.

At the afterparty, Joey wasn't eating much, she expressed she didn't have an appetite. Also, she is preparing for her upcoming World Tour Concert and her dance rehearsals are 4-5 hours each day, seriously difficult. As she is often the 'big winner' in music awards, asked if she has already gotten used to it? She said: "No, when you don't get awards, then you won't be used to it. Continue adding on to it, do well on my jobs!" She smiled and said the happiest moment in award ceremonies is being able to see all the singers together, a nice gathering to chat: "I'm preparing for my world tour now and each day all I get to see is the producer, and I'm alone while exercising, it's so boring I want to vomit. Seeing a big group of artists, I can do some laughing, catch up with everyone!"

After the show, Eason had to rush back to Mainland for work and was unable to attend the afterparty. Asked how he spent his late-July birthday? He said: "We went to Europe as a family, although we were all in the same country, our schedules were different because I stayed in the hotel all day to rest, very exhausted. I enjoyed some coffee and slept, everyone else went out shopping, to the zoo and gave me time to rest." As for being the big winner again, Eason laughed: "Wah Jai (Andy Lau) told me I had to contribute a part in the music industry. (Once you contribute, then you will get 3.5 awards?) Perhaps I put in all I got and only get half of an award!"

When Raymond Lam and Peter Ho won their 'Mandarin Strong Asian Popular Idol' awards, the event organizers put up sexy Chok photos of the them. Peter joked: "Seeing Raymond Lam's wet photo, I feel it's ridiculously Chok." Raymond laughed in response: "I have seen your photos too, which inspired me on how to Chok."
