Recently Apple Daily and FACE reported that during the time Raymond Lam was dating Mavis Pan, he hooked up with a girl named Angel (Fong Fong) who is from his hometown Xiamen. The magazines published photos that implied untrue facts. Currently in Beijing busy shooting for new film Saving General Yang, Raymond issued a statement to Apple Daily and FACE through his lawyer yesterday. He was angered by the fabricated and twisted reports. During a long-distance phone interview, Raymond said: "There has been fabricated and negative reports all along. Raymond reveals that the published photo on the reports was taken a several years ago when he invited his Xiamen friends for a housewarming party. Aside from the photos with his awards and dogs, the others were not taken at his house. Also, the photos are from so many years ago, he said heartbroken: "Miss Lok had already told the reporters that the rumor is not true, but they still wrote the story anyway, which violates a reporter's integrity." Since he entered the industry, he had never made such an extreme move by taking legal action against the media, but this time the news made his family worry, which Raymond honestly cannot accept. TVB Production and Resource Manager (Virgina Lok) voiced her support to Raymond's statement. However, this time the reports are truly ridiculous! Those pictures are taken when Raymond had a party. The photos in the bathroom and living room were not taken at his house. This incident also made Angel and her husband unhappy when they innocently got involved!" Raymond's mother also called Miss Lok to complain: "Last time the Mavis Pan incident already hurt Raymond deeply, he was depressed for a long time.
