he onscreen couple from TVB drama War of The Heart has taken their onscreen relationship one step further with a real-life romance brewing between the duo.
When Moses Chan and Aimee Chan were quizzed about their blossoming romance at different promotional events, the pair often smiled and gave non-committal replies.
Despite their no-comment stance, the duo's relationship is a widely-acknowledged "open secret" even at the TV station. Moses was even suspected to have spent a night at Aimee's place and sparked off rumours that they are co-habiting.
According to sources, the former Miss Hong Kong was on the lookout for a suitable house in May this year before she finally settled on a New Territories apartment in June. The Hong Kong media reported that the pair shared the workload between themselves with Aimee responsible for house hunting and Moses in-charge of the monthlyHK$22,000 (S$3,445) rental.
A couple of days ago, photos of the lovey-dovey pair in their new apartment surfaced. Decked in matching t-shirts, the couple clearly enjoyed their time together and Aimee was seen feeding Moses a vitamin pill. Their endearing actions continued into dinnertime as they sat opposite one another and fed each other spoonfuls of rice.
After dinner, Moses was in charge of washing the dishes while Aimee relaxed in the living room. After washing the dishes, Aimee gave Moses a hug, as if rewarding him for his hard work.
When rumours of the duo's budding romance started circulating, one of TVB's high-level executive Virginia Lok gently hinted at her approval of their relationship. She expressed, "After reading the reports, I found nothing wrong with it. A couple will not only feed each other at home, they will also do it when they are outside."
"Moses and Aimee are very compatible. I really hope for their relationship to blossom," she added.
