Raymond accepted an interview later, expressing that he never liked explaining to people or clarifying any rumours.
"I'll explain to someone who knows me, because I want them to understand. If someone already sees you in a certain way and refuses to know you through your work, then it's no use explaining so much either," Raymond said.
Talking about the published photos of Shuang Shuang and him in bed, Raymond advised the model to calm down and not to burn any bridges. However, the actor did not comment on the alleged rumour that he bought all the photos at HKD$20 million (approximately S$3.2 million).
When asked if he would find a girlfriend within showbiz, Raymond replied he's putting it in fate's hands.
"In the past, I wouldn't want a girlfriend from showbiz. After so many years, I realised my social circle is really small. There are not many times when I get to know people on the outside. The public don't really understand the nature of our job either [...] I think I'm leaving it up to fate. I'll know her when I meet her at the right time," Raymond said.
Raymond added that he has no thoughts on marriage now, although his mother is anxious about it. The 31-year-old actor merely let on that he wants to get married before the age of 40 and likes children.
