Congrats! Yesterday afternoon, Timmy Hung and Janet Chow's baby boy "TJ" was born! TJ weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces at birth; Mother and son are safe and sound. Yesterday morning at 8:40am, Timmy drove his wife Janet, mother and mother-in-law to the hospital. Janet expressed she didn't feel nervous about giving birth. After Timmy got his wife settled in and did all the paperwork, he accepted an interview at around 10am. When asked if he'll cut his son's umbilical cord? He said: "Nicholas Tse said cutting the umbilical cord is really harsh, it feels like you're hurting the baby with your own hands. I was thinking about it and agreed to what he said, so I'm still deciding."

At 3pm, Timmy appeared once again for another interview. He announced the good news to the media, revealing Janet went into labor at 2pm. The baby was 7 pounds, 6 ounces. When asked if they chose a lucky time to deliver the baby? He said: "No, Janet and I are both Christians. Actually, our expected date was February 5th, but the baby's head was too big, so he was born earlier than expected." First time as a father, Timmy expressed he is not nervous, but because Janet couldn't sleep the previous night he didn't get any sleep either. Timmy disclosed when they were having dinner the previous night, Janet thought her water broke, but it was just a false alarm. He said: "Last night when we were having dinner, Janet suddenly said the baby is ready to come out, but nothing happened. Perhaps she was just hungry."

Because of Nicholas Tse's one comment about the bloody umbilical cord, Timmy decided not to help his son cut it and just allowed the doctor to do the honors. Timmy laughed: "The doctor said I couldn't cut it!" He frankly expressed once he heard TJ crying, he was so touched he wanted to cry. He said: "The tears were about to gush out, but I held it all in. It feels so magical, so moving. As soon as I heard the baby cry, it was so touching." Timmy expressed the baby looks a lot like his grandfather Sammo Hung. He said: "When I looked at the ultrasound before, I saw the baby had a 'big rod' (big genitals). At the time, Kevin Cheng teased me, he told me to watch out, I might get a black baby boy. But, my baby is as white as snow and very healthy. He has big hands and feet, and a powerful cry. He cries so loud, it sounds like in the zoo, the goose's call."

Last night, grandfather Sammo Hung and his wife Joyce Godenzi visited Janet at the hospital. When Sammo saw his little grandson looking exactly like himself, he was very excited. Sammo proudly said: "Of course, I'm so handsome! (Did you get to carry your little grandson?) It's the flu season now, I don't dare to act blindly without thinking, so I didn't get to carry him yet." When asked what kind of reward does he plan on giving his daughter-in-law? He expressed he is very grateful of Janet: "Thank you daughter-in-law. No need for a reward, it's enough that our family know she's great. The most important is a happy family living happily together."

Sammo expressed he is currently thinking of a name for his grandson. He said Timmy has his own ideas as well, so the father and son will have to engage in a war first. Whoever wins the battle will get to decide on the name. Then Sammo suddenly added: "Actually in life, it really doesn't matter. Play from childhood to adulthood, 60 years later, as long as we can still see each other. Honestly, I don't know who will go (die) first."

Angela Tong Waiting to See Baby's "Big Rod" for Herself

Good friends Angela Tong and Charmaine Sheh already knew about the good news from their group chat earlier. They also saw the baby pictures and expressed they were extremely happy for them. Charmaine said: "So happy! When Janet discharges from the hospital, I'll go to their house to visit them. (What are you buying for the baby?) I don't know yet, not sure of the baby's size. I saw the baby had two long lines from his closed eyes. His eyes are probably really big. Janet said the baby looks like her father-in-law." Timmy joked his son had a 'big rod', Angela was asked if she'll arrange a marriage for her unborn daughter and Timmy's son? She laughed: "I don't believe him! Haha! I don't believe Timmy, wait until I see for myself!"

Recently the two close friends Toby Leung and Janet Chow partnered in a lingerie business. They designed and modeled for their bras and other products. Today, Janet is already 7 months pregnant, she plans to wear her own designed lingerie in her maternity photo shoot. Not only can she use this for memories, she can also advertise the brand. Toby does not only give her inputs on the designs, but also plans to start other businesses with Janet. The two good sisters hope to have their own career and save up more 'personal money'.

TOBY: Me and Janet's lingerie brand finally launched, so exciting! It feels just like me and Janet's baby is born! I told Timmy Hung, I'm riding over you! Haha...

JANET: Our brand uses two colors, black and white. It's very special. I like it a lot. Perhaps because I like it, good results came from only half the work. Lately, I only spent two months preparing and the production took about 4-5 months! If you really had to calculate it, from designing to launching, it only took about 6 months! The theme for our lingerie products are quality and comfort. On the back, there is a zipper and a band, just like styles from the Victorian era. There are many uses for it and it's not just to look sexy when wearing it. You can wear to show your husband and also wear it by itself like clothing! Later, I'll be wearing my own designs to do the maternity photo shoot. However, I gained a lot of weight, look like a pig!

TOBY: Hong Kong people always think being slim is considered beautiful. It is natural for a pregnant women to be fat. We're also designing maternity lingerie now. When wearing them, you can also look sexy!

Mutual Trust, No Arguments

JANET: We've known each other for 4-5 years. Many people say good friends cannot run a business together, it will damage the relationship and eventually end the friendship! However, we have never had any arguments, actually I'm learning from Toby!

TOBY: We are just too good friends, and she really trusts me. The business plan, Janet lets me make all the decisions, so there's not many chances for us to argue. Actually, she and Timmy argue sometimes and I help stop them. I tell them to calm down! Now that we're both married, we even talk about how to get along with our husbands. Don't look at Janet and think she's very gentle and laid back, actually her character is like a man. She knows how to protect people. As for me, I look tough on the outside, but actually she protects me!

JANET: Yeah! I fooled my husband too! I throw temper tantrums on my husband, well because he's the closest person to me!

TOBY: Janet and I have many dreams, besides lingerie, we want to do a makeup business too. Women don't just stay at home and be wives, having something to do, will give us a sense of accomplishment because not all female artists are that lucky. Women really have to have their own savings!

Plans to Start a Makeup Business

JANET: One of the reasons why I participated in Miss HK was because I wanted to get into makeup. Before when I was living in Canada, my circle was very small. It was an eye-opener when I came to HK. Miss HK can put on makeup and look pretty, and that's how I was able to come into contact with makeup. But, we're still in the planning stage. We should first focus on our lingerie brand!

TOBY: Yes... ... I'm already a Wedding Planner, so I'm slowly trying to bring all the services into one. It would be best if we could provide 'all-in-one' services. In the future, I will be opening a makeup school and let my good friends try out a business they like to do; let them enjoy a little!

Admires Toby Speaks to the Point

JANET: I really admire Toby's ability to express. I think of it as a learning experience when collaborating with her. Just like how she speaks, she can be so persuasive and really have a point in what she says. When she was explaining the details of the business to me, basically I didn't need to ask any questions, she already answered everything I wanted to know. My mom praises Toby too!

TOBY: I do all my homework before I meet clients, but I really envy you because you're going to be a mother soon. I do plan on having a baby myself, but I want to take the opportunity before I turn 30, I hope my company gets even better. Then I can really be relaxed and focus on having children, then I will just concentrate entirely on taking care of my baby.

Yesterday Wayne Lai, Kent Cheng, Kristal Tin, Janet Chow, Chris Lai, Elaine Yiu, Pierre Ngo and Natalie Tong appeared in their ancient costumes for the promotion of TVB new series King Maker. Lead actors Wayne and Kent put in the most effort into the promotion. Aside from arm wrestling each other, the two played tug-a-war with Kristal and Elaine. Everyone was worried about the pregnant Janet Chow, although Chris took good care of her, she saw the cast having so much fun playing and she wanted to join too, so she asked Chris to carry her. Wonder if her husband Timmy Hung will freak out when he sees that.

Yesterday Janet's growing belly was much more visible than her last public appearance. She said: "My stomach is growing fast. Friends have told me not to eat too much. Timmy is currently out working, as his wife, I don't want him to worry. Last night, I had dinner at Charmaine Sheh's house with a large group of friends. I chatted with Annie Man about our pregnancy experiences and even went shopping online for baby products. (Does Charmaine envy you?) I don't know, but I did urge her to start dating soon, but I won't introduce any guys to her because it feels awkward." Janet reveals her expected due date is February 5, 2013. She already chose the date to get a C-section, but if she's due earlier, she will go for a natural birth.

As the cast for King Makers is similar to The Greatness of a Hero? Wayne said: "Because there is a shortage of artists at TVB, but the story is different. This time Kent and I will have a lot of battle of wits scenes. He's the evil one, and I'm the good guy. (Film King challenges TV King?) Of course, the co-star is very important. Kent is very talented."

Janet Chow kept the secret for 3 months before she finally announces that she is indeed 3 months pregnant. Yesterday she happily expressed on a radio interview: "Lately I grew a lot of dark and thick leg hair, friends have told me this is a sign that I'm carrying a boy!"

Yesterday afternoon, Janet attended an event and seeing the lively children there, she could not help but throw out some of her motherly love: "I was holding it in for so long, finally I can tell everyone that I'm 3 months pregnant. Although I easily get tired now and I'm feeling nervous, but the funniest moment was before I found out about my pregnancy, I smelled a bag of BBQ meat and I wanted to vomit. Timmy [Hung] said he has to buy pickles for me then, but I said no, we should buy pregnancy test stick first! Then when I went for my ultrasounds, Timmy kept pointing to the monitor saying that the baby looks like him! (Do you like a boy or a girl?) I want to have a girl, so I can help her dress up and girls are more gentle. (What does your father-in-law Sammo Hung think?) He is very happy, and doesn't mind whether the baby's a boy or a girl. I'm not just having one child though."

Janet denied that her body weight has been rapidly increasing over the last three months, she said: "I'm still just 115 pounds, which hasn't changed much since the first month. (Increase cup size?) Well there must be a little more or less, I'm not going to discuss the details. (Have to ask Timmy?) He's working in Fushan." The 24/7 new mother exposes she sacrificed a lot for her baby already: "I always want to vomit, but haven't actually vomited a lot. Others want to vomit when they are too full, but I want to vomit when I'm hungry. I liked to eat fish before, but now I think its too fishy, so I could only take Omega 3 supplements."

Today is Timmy Hung's birthday, but there won't be any special celebration nor will he be spending the day with his wife Janet Chow. He'll probably be doing the same as previous years, and just have dinner with a large group of friends. He'll be celebrating with good friend Angela Tong, whose birthday is just the day before his. He laughed: "I really don't want to celebrate with Angela Tong every year, she's so annoying. I hope she'll marry Chin Kar Lok soon and just have children of her own. I heard they plan on getting married next year."

Yesterday Timmy attended an event and was asked if the rumor of his wife's 2 months pregnancy is true? He said: "Waiting for my wife's report! There's no reason for me to check on her (referring to her menstrual cycle)." Reporters contacted Janet to confirm, she indirectly admitted: "Still checking! (Check for that long?) I don't know! If I can say, I will say it! (Eating more?) I will! Last month I already gained 10 pounds, but that's no problem, prepared to have a baby! Carrying the baby would be more stabled too! (Have you vomited?) Not that fast! (Does your father-in-law, Sammo Hung, know yet?) How can I tell him, that is Timmy's responsibility."

Following Timmy Hung and Janet Chow's wedding reception at W Hotel for friends and family, the newly weds continue yesterday at W Hotel hosting a 800 seat leopard themed wedding party inviting good friends. A large group of showbiz friends attended to celebrated with the couple including: Aaron Kwok, Eric Tsang, Nat Chan, Louis Yuen, Michael Tao, Koni Lui, Alvina Kong and her husband, Bobby Au Yeung and his wife, Mimi Lo, Evergreen Mak, HotCha, Fiona Sit, Ruco Chan, Sharon Chan, Fala Chen, Linda Chung, and many many more.

Yesterday afternoon, Timmy and Janet led the 28 large bridesmaids including Angela Tong, Toby Leung, Natalie Tong, Skye Chan, Margaret Chung, Sherming Yiu, Charmaine Li and the group of 13 groomsmen including: Chin Kar Lok, Michael Tse, Alex Fong, Frankie Lam, and Michael Tong to meet the press. Timmy said: "I really don't understand why there are so many bridemaids, but it's a good thing for my groomsmen too. Tonight, some guests were busy and couldn't make it, like Nicholas Tse. The theme tonight is leopards, but in reality it's actually just 'playing us'. (Have you two Dung Fong yet?) After the wedding reception, we were exhausted and just went to sleep, but this type of thing does not need to be scheduled. It can happen any time. However, tonight we probably can't because we both have work tomorrow."

Timmy expressed he does not fear his guests will get him drunk, he said: "I'm already mentally prepared, ready for it. Michael Tong said he prepared 40 hangover pills for me. (Not afraid it'll turn into an aphrodisiac?) Nope, if it really does happen, then 40 of us will take it together, should be pretty enjoyable."

Janet found a passionate husband, and got emotional during the phone interview with the media. She said with tears and happiness: "After the wedding, Timmy was so exhausted he passed out. I haven't left the hotel room for over 40 hours sleeping. I chatted with my cousins all night too. (Any time to Dung Fong?) I heard a Dragon baby will have to happen before April, tonight we probably can't do it. I'm very happy that so many friends from outside of HK came to witness my wedding. I've been in this industry for 6 years, if I didn't have any friends, then there would be something wrong, I really have a lot of good sisters that I can speak my heart to."

Even his sister said the same thing. I really don't feel what's so great about me, but I really thank them."

The couple also hosted a star-studded wedding reception at W Hotel. The bride left alone early in the morning to pickup her friends and took them to the hotel. Timmy waited for his bride at the hotel, and then the couple entered together.

As the father-in-law, Sammo Hung arrived at the hotel at 12pm, and personally gave out red envelopes later in the afternoon. He laughed that Timmy knows what to do and does not need to be taught, so he doesn't have to worry. Asked if the newly weds are planning to have Dragon babies? Sammo said its possible. Later, Sammo's wife joined them and happily allowed the media to snap a few pictures.

Wong Jing, Jacky Cheung, Jackie Chan and EEG CEO Albert Yeung were the earliest guests that arrived. Janet Chow and Timmy Hung's marriage date had been changing day after day. Finally they decided for March 21st (3. 21), a day that is easy to remember. The wedding banquet will be held at W Hotel. As Timmy's father, Sammo Hung, and the newly wedded couple have so many friends, the wedding will be split into two parts. On March 21st, they will be holding a 20+ table banquet, mainly for family/relatives from both sides and the marriage certificate will be signed then. The second part of the wedding banquet will be held at another time just for friends, in the form of a party. Janet will be having 30 girls in her 'sisters group', including Angela Tong, Sherming Yiu and Toby Leung.

Since Timmy now has a burden to raise a family, recently he had been actively trying to make more money in China. A few days ago, on the fourth day of Lunar New Year, Timmy went back to HK and immediately went to do the 1 of 7 day wedding photo shoot with Janet. The couple will be doing the photo shoot in both Hong Kong and Australia. Janet accepted an interview and revealed she prepared over 10 different wedding and evening dresses for the wedding photos. On the day of the wedding, she will be wearing a specially tailored white leather wedding dress. She said: "Back then when I was running for Miss HK, I wore a leather wedding dress and at the time, I thought to myself, I want to wear this leather wedding dress when I get marry in the future. I felt the leather is hot looking, so this time, I especially went to get one tailored."

Asked of the current situation in their wedding photo shoot? Janet said: "I'm actually not as anxious to shoot these wedding photos, as I was when I shot commercials. I had a good sleep and in a very good mental state. Timmy came immediately to take the photos after he got off the plane, but he's still very high spirited. Aside from making me laugh, he also made the atmosphere feel really good." Janet expressed this time for the wedding, they spent an estimated 7 figures and has already been thinking of how to save up. This year, there are an especially a lot of 'Dragon babies' to be born. When asked if Janet will rush to have a Dragon baby herself? She laughed: "I am taking vitamins now to maintain a good health, we are both ready and should be able to make it in time before the Dragon year ends."

Timmy Hung, Derek Kwok, Joe Ma and Michael Tse were in Chuen Wan for a Mid-Autumn Festival event, celebrating the holiday with the elders. Timmy revealed through the interview that he and his girlfriend Janet Chow had a new idea on their wedding. They plan to hold a 'two person wedding' in Australia on November 11th. He said: "Actually since last year, we already started preparing for the wedding, but all along we couldn't find a suitable location to host the occasion. Janet recently said why don't we just marry in Australia without anyone, just the two of us. Then we'll come back and hold the banquet. Parents of both sides agreed, my father (Sammo Hung) doesn't mind because he's busy shooting a new film and will only have time in January of next year."

Timmy is prepared to buy a 1 carat diamond ring valued at HK$20,000 to marry Janet. In the future when he earns more money, he will add more to the gifts. He laughed: "I hate those games we play when we pick up the bride. For me, I'll just act like Special Duties Unit, break through the doors and steal the bride."

Also, Derek Kwok was recently blessed with a daughter. Although child care is difficult, but at least has a goal in life. Asked about rumored girlfriend Joyce Tang accused of being the 'third party'. He said awkwardly that the two are just friends, and has not been keeping in touch. He said: "She didn't admit she was dating, how can outsiders know about matters between two people?" When asked if Derek will introduce 'good men' to Joyce? He said: "No, let her find one herself."

Janet Chow and Timmy Hung have long been recognized as a steady couple in the HK entertainment circle. Since the two of them started dating, they were constantly asked about when they will get married and recently, rumors surfaced that they are planning to wed in July of this year in the Maldives Islands.

Yesterday, Janet was asked about the marriage rumors, to which she expressed that nothing has been confirmed: “If we were truly to get married in the Maldives, the utmost concern would be whether my family and friends would have time to attend, as I would definitely want my mother and closest friends to come share the moment with me.”

Janet revealed that back in 2008, when she and Timmy as well as his family and their mutual friends went on a trip to the Maldives, he had already proposed to her and she agreed to be his fiancée. She recounts the romantic moment: “That trip was to celebrate my birthday. On the last night of the trip, Timmy came out holding a cake – I thought it was odd because we had already eaten cake earlier and already celebrated earlier during the trip. Then I looked closer at the cake and discovered that there was a ring placed right on top of it – all of a sudden, he got on his knees and proposed. I was so moved that I cried and said yes. He promised that he would marry me in 3 years.” That night, Timmy’s father Sammo Hung, his step-mother Joyce Mina Godenzi, and friends Eric Tsang, Angela Tong, Toby Leung, etc. were present when Timmy proposed and witnessed the joyous event.

Now that the 3 years is almost up, rumor has it that Timmy will honor his promise by marrying Janet in a wedding ceremony in the Maldives in July. However, Janet would not confirm the rumors, saying only that she is not in a rush to get married: “The possibility of us getting married in the Maldives in July is only about 50/50. I’m not worried at all, as the Heavens had already arranged for me to meet Timmy and also arranged the surprise proposal for me. So whenever Timmy decides to marry me, I will let the Heavens arrange it.”
