From his portrayal of the popular “Laughing Gor” character in TVB’s 2009 hit-drama ‘E.U.’, Michael Tse only brings home the Best Supporting Actor award, losing to Wayne Lai’s “Chai Kau” in ‘Rosy Business’ for the My Favorite Male Character award. Yesterday, Tse continued to work on his new drama, and exclaimed that he is satisfied with the results. Because of his “Laughing Gor” character, Tse earned close to seven digits of income. He laughed and said that he only lost little to Lai’s “Chai Kau”. He was not disappointed and did not feel regret. When asked if he will buy a present for himself to celebrate, Tse replied, “I hope that when my month of filming is over, I will be able to go on a vacation with my wife.”
Aside, Tse was listed as the sixth most popular search on Google through his portrayal of “Laughing Gor.” Tse’s performance is still deeply engraved many Hong Kongers.
