Earlier Steven Ma attended the
Miss New York Chinese Beauty Pageant 2010 as a guest performer. Having some free time, he held an autograph session at a jewelry store in Chinatown, attracting a large group of fans' support. There were also fans from other areas especially flying over to New York to meet their idol. Many overseas Chinese fans shouted excitedly "Chung Ling" (Steven's role name in Ghost Writer), even Steven couldn't believe that he's so welcomed. As there were too many people in line for his autograph, some fans were unable to get an autograph before the session ended and started crying live on the spot.
