Yesterday Gigi Leung accepted an interview by RTHK. She appeared without make-up and only had a pair of sunglasses on, turns out it was because her adopted stray cat Poppy unfortunately passed away the day before. She did not have any mood to put on make up, only put on a pair of sunglasses to cover up her swollen eyes from crying.

After a night of sorrow, Gigi shared her feelings with fans on Weibo: "My love Poppy, yesterday.... you left this world. After a night of sorrow and grief, I have accepted the fact. In just a year of time, she went from an one-eyed stray cat to my 'little princess' who's been with me day and night..... thank you for accompanying me when I was lonely, protecting me.... bringing me inspirations, happiness... hope you can be a happy person in your next life... continue to be a lovable 'little princess'... see you in the next life." Gigi and Poppy's human-cat relationship is very touching.

As to the possibility that the 4 stations award ceremony (RTHK, TVB, CRHK, Metro) will be canceled? Gigi felt that TVB and the Big 4 record companies issue has been troubling for a year, she is curious of this year's award ceremony, if the results would be affected.
