Depending on the role as 'Am Chun Mui' in TVB series Suspects In Love, 2007 Miss HK contestant Mandy Wong made a breakthrough. Recently in the series Home Troopers, Mandy's role had a 180 degree huge change. In the series, she plays Liza Wang's daughter and is an extreme rebel, often quarreling with Liza. Mandy was asked if she's been scolded by the infamous strict Liza before? She said: "Nope, Liza is a very good person, not mean at all. I never got scolded by her before. She is actually very playful and is very willing to teach us acting. In the series, we are often arguing, sometimes she thinks I wasn't mean enough when yelling at her, so she would tell me how I should yell at her."

Mandy recalls the most intense argument scene with Liza. She said: "That scene was about Liza discovering that I was the third party in a relationship. Liza went crazy and yelled at me, while I refuted her and stood firm. Personally, I rarely have such intense scenes, after shooting that scene, I lost my breath and my hands were shaking. I had to rest for 10 minutes before getting back to normal."

In the series, Mandy often argues with Liza because she was in a relationship with a married man, Vincent Wong. In reality, Mandy will definitely not be the third party. She said: "I haven't experienced such relationship before, and will not let it happen, I don't like to have such complicated relationships."
