Niki Chow, Ching Hor Wai, Claire Yiu and Raymond Cho were shooting for new series My Cruel Lover at TVB City yesterday. The scene was about Niki experiencing setbacks and ran away from home due to the frustration. Her family members, played by Ching Hor Wai, Claire and Raymond all went out on the streets to find her. Eventually Niki and Ching Hor Wai, who plays her mother, reunited and talked about their feelings, then embraced sobbing together. It was a touching scene.

Before shooting began, Niki quickly got into character and tears were ready to come out even before they got into position. The director couldn't help but call out to Niki "hold it in a little more!", to avoid wasting her tears! Later, once Niki got into position and the cameras rolled, her tears came streaming down nonstop and the scene was a success.

During an interview, Niki expressed that in My Cruel Lover, she often has to cry and one time she cried so much she got a cramp, she said: "The script is very touching. I even tear up just reading the script myself, then when cameras roll I cry again. It's another type of challenge shooting this series, I have a lot of lines to say, the longest one was 7 pages!"
