Following Charmaine Sheh indirectly admitting that she's no longer going to be a TVB artist, according to reports, there are other Fadans and Siu Sangs that have the same intention. Bosco Wong although still has 2 years left in his TVB management contract, he is already a hot candidate. Besides Peter Lam having interest in pulling him over to East Asia, other Mainland entertainment companies also wants to cut in to steal him. Another Siu Sang, Joe Ma, his contract is ending at the end of this year, and he is already slowly leaving the nest, going up north to make more money to support his family.

Peter Lam, from East Asia, had already had interest in Bosco long ago. Since he still had a few years left in his TVB management contract, East Asia signed him a singer's contract in 2008 and established a good relationship. Reporters contacted East Asia Executive (Chan Kwong Wing) regarding the rumor, he said: "We have always supported him, if not we wouldn't have signed him a singer's contract with us so fast. His contract with TVB, we are not sure of, but if he decides not to renew the contract, we of course have interest in strengthen the collaboration with him because he has the looks, acting and pretty good singing skills too.
