Lately Stephanie Cheng has been surrounded by gossips, not only is she rumored to have been frozen by her record company, but also was 'shut out' by TVB because she cursed at one of their reporters. It was said that the TVB Entertainment News Team were interviewing her earlier and when Stephanie was asked about her family matters, she suddenly cursed at the TVB reporter: "X your mother!" TVB was immediately angered by her behavior and decided to shut her out. TVB Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) admitted that there was such incident, and criticized she was disrespectful. Mr Tsang said: "The incident happened a few months ago, TVB reporter interviewed Stephanie and after the interview, it was as you said, she turned around and cursed at my colleague. At the time, the reporter, the photographer, the director and myself were clueless and did not understand why she was acting like that because the entire interview went smoothly. The questions just gossiped a little about her family, nothing offending to her. I don't understand why she was so impolite and reacted that way. Everyone at the scene saw what she did, and it shouldn't be a misunderstanding."

Mr. Tsang continues: "Later, the director reported to TVB because [he/she] felt Stephanie was being disrespectful, so her interview was not put on air. Her record company also felt the same, that she treated us impolitely, which greatly affects our future collaborations. The record company said it was purely her personal behavior, and is not related to the company. For the meantime, she will not be interviewed at all. As a public figure, she should not take out her unhappiness or anger on us, not necessary to curse at us."

Late last year, it was rumored Gillian Chung 'stole' her music producer boyfriend (Ben Chong) and since then she started eating madly to vent out her anger, which resulted in her being out of shape. Her record company Neway Star (Star Entertainment Ltd) ordered her to lose weight and put all her work on hiatus. Later, news broke out that Stephanie was frozen by Star Entertainment because she declined to attend ex-lover Ben Chong's celebration party for joining the company.

Fiona Sit: Stephanie wants to apologize

Yesterday Fiona Sit attended 903 ALL STAR Badminton Competition and responded to good friend Stephanie's disrespectful behavior. She said: "She is a person, by nature, freely expresses her feelings and emotions. When asked of her precious family, people who are close to her and her boyfriend, she doesn't want to answer. That day she was unhappy during the interview. Stephanie is already feeling regret and really wants to apologize."

Ah Gil implies love opponent Stephanie has low EQ

Yesterday Twins were in Guangzhou promoting for their Everyone Bounces Up Concert. Asked about Stephanie's cursing at TVB reporter incident, Gillian Chung (Ah Gil) said: "I have not been in HK lately, so not too sure." She expressed artists must have high EQ. Asked if she ever lost her patience before? Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) laughed: "When I can't tolerate anymore, I would pinch my thighs!" Ah Gil said: "I would pinch Ah Sa's thighs, find someone who has high EQ to pinch!" Ah Sa laughed: "My thighs are all scratched up!"

Also, Ah Sa will soon be participating in the Venice Film Festival representing her film The Sorcerer And The White Snake. She said: "I'm so nervous, I really want to bring Ah Gil and my boyfriend William Chan with me. But my boyfriend has work, and I can only go with my manager Mani Fok and mom. Later, I'll be rushing back to HK to rehearse for the company and then head over to Canada for work. In September, I'm 'Flying Ah Sa'!"
