It had long been rumored that Fala Chen and her Neway boyfriend (Sit Sai Hang) were married, but she never confirmed herself. Recently it was rumored again that the couple were married in 2008 and Fala even got a 40,000feet mansion located in the US from her 'husband' as wedding gift. Yesterday Fala clarified the rumor on Weibo, but since she grew up in the US, Fala was extremely careless and wrote 'bought' as 'sold'.

Fala wrote: "Over the several years that I have been working, I still do not own any properties in HK, just during the period of the U.S financial turmoil, I 'sold' (she means 'brought') a foreclosure home as a form of investment. The price of the home is just equivalent to Hong Kong's several 10 square meters (several hundred square feet) apartments, which I can still afford. Somehow I am related to whatever gossip there is." According to sources, the US property under Fala's name is located in Atlanta, Georgia and during the financial turmoil, the price was about $760,000 USD (~HK$5.9 million).

Based on her Weibo response, she only clarified that her US property is not a wedding gift from Mr. Sit, but she did not respond to the 2008 secret marriage rumor.

A few days ago when Fala responded to Marie Zhuge's miscarriage rumor, but Marie later criticized that she took a heartbreaking incident as a joke, therefore Fala did not mention about the miscarriage anymore.
