The Miss Chinese International Pageant 2012 was held at TVB City last night. The winner, Kelly Cheung, came from Chicago with looks resembling singer Ava Yu (or Bianca). As for 'Malaysian Fala', Lenna Lim, she had a calm performance and won two awards, but unfortunately in the end she was only the 2nd runner-up. As for Hong Kong representative Rebecca Zhu, she didn't even make it in the top three, and did not follow 1988 Michelle Reis and 2000's Sonija Kwok footsteps to become the third 'HK Produced MCI'.

When the top 10 finalists were announced, the MC Eric Tsang accidentally read Kelly Cheung's (Cheung Hei Man) wrong, and called her 'Chan Hei Man' instead. Then Eric made a mistake again and read Rebecca Zhu (Zhu San Lai) as 'Chan San Lai'.

During the Question and Answer part, Roro Chen (#12) of London was asked what type of person would she choose to eat? She said: "Bad people." When Eric kept asking why she chose bad people? She boldly mocked Eric: "Little people, just like you." Everyone in the studio started laughing.

Lenna Lim appeared the most calm the entire night and hit bingo on one attack. On the contrary, Rebecca Zhu was quite nervous that she might answer the question wrong and lost a lot of points from there.

When the top 3 finalists were announced, Maggie Yu (#25) of Dalian stepped on Jasmine Hayter (#15) of New York's dress and almost made her trip. Fortunately Jasmine was able to put her dress back up and dodge a potential accident.
