Angela and Kar Lok had a simple wedding ceremony with their parents, good friends, the groomsmen and bridesmaids witnessing their marriage. The groomsmen included Timmy Hung, Wilson Chin, Wong Cho Lam and Joe Tay; the bridesmaids were Toby Leung, Margaret Chung and Annie Man.
To avoid disturbing the giant panda, the wedding was kept quiet the entire time, but that didn't stop the newly weds from sparking love. The two were kissing nonstop and when Angela declared her love for Kar Lok, she became emotional and teared up. When the newly weds and their guests were having dinner, the giant panda was curious and "attended" the wedding himself.
Angela had on a 2 karat diamond ring, valued at several HK$100,000, which was given to her by Kar Lok and a sponsored wedding ring, valued at several HK$10,000. During the interview, Kar Lok expressed he was very nervous, but once he finished saying his wedding vows, he said he was flawless and made no mistakes or had any 'lazy sounds'. He was just like a 'fast version King Sir', who spoke clearly without an accent. He joked: "The only English words I know is, 'I do'." Angela stuttered while she said her wedding vows, but she blamed Kar Lok for it. She said she had to accommodate Kar Lok and use Chinese to say her wedding vow. Kar Lok comforted his wife and said a family should be relaxed and comfortable, don't have to be perfect.
The couple will be holding their wedding banquet tomorrow (11/15th) and share another good news with their guests. Kar Lok said: "Angela wants our guests to guess if the baby is a boy or a girl. The person who guesses correctly will win two business class tickets to Thailand. When the time comes, if its a strawberry cake then the baby is a girl and if its a chocolate cake, then its a boy." When asked if they named their baby yet? Kar Lok laughed: "We thought about naming him/her Chin Jeun Jeun. It wouldn't make sense for us to name the baby 'Chin Sai' (past life) or 'Chin Chat', right?"
