Frankie Lam, Felix Wong and his daughter Adrian Wong, Sek Sau, Dominic Lam and Leila Tong attended at the CTI promotion event. The making of clips for CTI's 12 series were shown at the event. Audience got to play games with the artists and win prizes as well. Dominic laughed: "Our prizes, each one is about HK$2,000, it won't be some doll." Apparently, Dominic was indirectly mocking the TVB's TV Buddy doll. Sek Sau was asked if there are any differences between CTI and other TV stations? He said: "I won't talk about the past, I just look at the present and the future."

Frankie is currently busy shooting Three Faced Doctor, where he portrays a plastic surgeon. It is suspected that the series plagiarized American drama series Nip/Tuck? Frankie said he feels very good after joining CTI. The new company has the motivation to demonstrate a new technique in the history of HK television. He does not believe that there will be plagiarism involved. He said he personally does not oppose to plastic surgery, and can accept small fixes. He said: "I've done some homework at the beauty salon. According to my research, botox isn't too painful, but they said I don't have to get it done yet." When asked if he accepts his wife Kenix Kwok getting plastic surgery? He said: "I have to see what she's doing, something big won't be necessary."

Ha Yu and Paw Hee Ching are joining CTI March 2013, Felix expressed he is excited to work with them. He said he couldn't believe he can meet them again after so many years and he's currently enjoying his work at CTI. He has confidence that CTI will be able to get their license next year.

Frankie Lam, Kate Yeung, Carlos Chan and John Chiang attended the costume fitting of CTI new medical drama Three Face Shaped Doctor (Plot). Frankie hasn't started working for this new company yet, but is already praising their good policies: "It's a lot more comforting here. We don't need to work from day to night, then from night to day. At most its a 12 hour work day."

As TVB invited Lawrence Ng back to rescue them, Frankie disagreed: "I don't think it's a war. (You and Lawrence are both playing doctors, afraid of comparison?) Just do my best on my own part. Also it has been said several times in television history, even if you are coming out for war and you are clearly going to win, you believe your chances of winning is high, but you may still lose in the end. Nothing is absolute."

Since becoming parents in January of this year, Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok have focused all of their attention on their newborn daughter. Yesterday, Frankie accepted an interview with Eileen Cha’s radio show. He revealed that he and his wife have already decided on the Chinese name 「林天若」 for their daughter: “It’s taken from the Chinese phrase ‘天若有情’ [TN: translated as ‘supposing there is love in Heaven’]. I feel that the name sounds very gentle and pleasing to the ears, plus there aren’t a lot of people with this name.”

Frankie admits that he is the ‘benevolent father’ type of parent and can’t bear to see his daughter cry, so whenever she does, he does everything he can to calm / appease her. Frankie says: “Day before yesterday, I had gone out briefly and when I returned home, Kenix told me that our daughter was fussy and cried for 45 minutes. She told me not to be heart-broken when I heard about it.” (Seeing how much you love your daughter, are you afraid Kenix will be jealous?) “No, she won’t – both of them are my treasures.” Frankie smiled and said that one day, he told his daughter that when she grows up and attends a Christmas Party, she needs to let him know where she is going – he won’t go disturb her, but he will observe from afar to make sure she is safe. (When Kenix heard this, did she say that you are crazy?) Frankie replied: “I just want to make sure my daughter doesn’t get bullied.”

Kelly Chan once said that she would encourage her son Chace (nicknamed ‘Little Shrimp Dumpling’) to pursue Frankie’s daughter when they grow up. To this, Frankie replied: “We want to give the next generation some amount of freedom when it comes to future relationships. Little Chace is definitely very cute – when they grow up and have the opportunity to interact with each other, then we’ll know whether it will blossom into a ‘Tian Ruo/Shrimp Dumpling’ romance!”

With the birth of their daughter, Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok changed a lot. Recently, Frankie and Kenix, along with their newborn baby, sat down for an interview with “Mingpao Weekly” magazine – showing the great happiness of this now “three person” family. Though Frankie has hired a “sitter” to help Kenix out with the baby, he himself is also taking 2 months off from work to take care of mother and daughter. In fact, he is already showing his good “parenting” skills, as he personally gives his daughter a bath, feeds her, as well as burps her; Kenix even revealed that Frankie is so in love with his daughter that he kisses the baby from head to toe.

This loving father is also a very considerate husband – when Kenix was still in the hospital after having the baby, she had to stay in bed and wasn’t able to get up, even to shower. Everyday, Frankie would go to the hospital to help his wife bathe and sometimes would even squat on the floor to help wash her feet. For Frankie, the joy of becoming a father is a priceless treasure – now, every time he drives outside, he notices how beautiful the world is.

Frankie has described his wife Kenix as becoming “an entirely different person” since the birth of their daughter. In order to breastfeed the baby, Kenix gets up every morning at 6am – when holding the baby in her arms and looking straight into her eyes, she happily smiles and laughs. In the past, whenever Kenix saw a little kid, she would only say “how cute!” then walk away, however now, she puts her daughter ahead of everything else. Though her daughter is not even 1 month old yet, she has already expressed her desire to have a 2nd or even 3rd child.

Just gave birth to 7.2 baby girl, Kenix Kwok and husband Frankie Lam brought their newborn home yesterday. Wearing sunglasses, Kenix although appeared to still have a slight belly, but she expressed that she already recovered pretty quickly. She said: "I don't know how to describe my happiness, I'm always thinking of my baby's face. Her eyes and her nose really looks like Frankie, her mouth resembles me. (Going for another one?) I am considering it, but can't wait too long because I want to have someone accompany her. Boy or girl I do not mind. (This time, did Frankie arrange everything for you?) I'm touched, he took great care of me, thank you."

Frankie reveals that he already hired a person to "sit month" with Kenix. He said: "I found a Chinese Herbal doctor and a 'sit month', a prescription of everything Kenix needs for a healthy and quick recovery is in that. In the next two months, I will be focused on our baby, I declined all new jobs. (Will you guys hold a 1 month year old party?) No, because there are too much bacteria outside. (Have you decided on her name yet?) Not yet. (Better relationship with Kenix?) Extremely well, we have gotten even better recently." When Frankie saw Reporters taking pictures, he quickly told them to stop because babies cannot withstand the flashes."

Kenix Kwok recently gave birth to a baby girl on January 14th, with mother and daughter both in stable condition. The baby girl is very cute, weighing in at 7.48lbs, and is likened to Kenix. Frankie Lam announced the good news to media personally yesterday, and the new father could hardly conceal his pride and excitement. He expressed that his wife, daughter and himself are now a "three in one" unit, and in his heart, no one can replace their spots.

Frankie held a press conference at Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong yesterday, saying, "We are still deciding on our baby's name, the physiognomist offered many names for us to choose from. I never knew choosing a great name was so hard!"

Hasn't decided on baby's name, wife recovers quickly
Frankie revealed that his wife's health is in good condition, and the doctor praised his wife's speedy recovery. How are you going to award your wife? "I already awarded her once before she gave birth, but of course now I will satisfy her every desire. Now we are a "three in one" unit, it's definitely the biggest and best present I have received since my own birth!"

Did you have tears of joy the moment your daughter was born? "When my wife was pregnant, I already read numerous books about the moment of birth, so I was very prepared in terms of welcoming the new child. When my wife went into labour, she told me that having been pregnant for so long, the baby felt like a part of her, and was a bit reluctant to let her out. That was a pretty defining moment. I entered the birthing room with her, witnessed the moment of birth, and it was very inspiring, very miraculous. It made me feel like nothing was more important than this child's birth, no one can replace their spots."

Wishes for a son as well
Frankie has already cancelled all upcoming work proposals for the next two months, devoting his time entirely to taking care of his wife. "We are new hands at this, we need to get used to learning how to take care of babies, so I need to spent more time next to them. I will definitely not accept drama series, maybe one to two day work assignments at most. If I have to leave my wife and child alone for too long, I will definitely not accept it!" He further expressed that his wants to give a little brother to his daughter, but that will all depend on Kenix's health. He and his wife both agree that one more child would be perfect.
