TVB artists Tavia Yeung, Tracy Ip and Sammy Sum are sure having bad luck! They all joined the 'injured group'. In June, Tracy fractured her right leg bone and a few nights ago, she injured her tail bone from an accidental fall at home. Yesterday she posted a picture of her X-ray on Weibo and shared her experience with the media over the phone: "I was walking into my room to answer a phone call, then I accidentally tripped and fell to the ground. My pat pat (butt) went straight to the floor. At the time, I heard something crack. I was so frightened I started getting cold sweat!"

She then crawled to her telephone and called her family for help. When she got to the hospital, the doctor said she fractured her tailbone. "The doctor said I was lucky that not all the pressure was placed on those bones, otherwise it would affect my fertility. However, I will have to rest for a month and have to be on bed rest for a few days." When asked if rumored boyfriend Matthew Ko called to comfort her? She said: "He already did, told me to be careful. (Will he visit you?) No! After I discharged from the hospital, I went straight home!"

Meanwhile, Tavia Yeung attended a shoe event and had a swollen foot. Her foot was so swollen it looked like 'pig trotters', but she still wore 2-inch heels. She revealed she injured herself while shooting a jumping off a high place scene for A Great Way to Care II earlier. She said: "I sprained my ankle before, but then I just kept on filming. I went to see the doctor and found out there is a fracture." As for the TV Queen battle, she frankly expressed she supports herself. When asked if she would support rumored boyfriend Him Law? She said: "I'm not sure if he [supports me], if so I will vote for him!" When speaking of Elaine Ng's "car sex" rumor, as someone who had personal experience, Tavia said: "Innocence is innocence. Don't try to hurt artists. (You were hurt earlier?) I was totally angry!"

Also, Sammy Sum revealed on Weibo he triggered old injuries to come back during dance rehearsal for the TVB Anniversary Gala performance. However, he'll still be shooting a car crash scene as scheduled. He said over the phone "I injured the ligament on my left foot. I injured it before when I was skiing, and I'll request to reduce dangerous action scenes."

Lately there has been a shortage of TVB Siu Sang and FaDans, so many of the second line actors have the opportunity to move up. Amongst them is Matthew Ko, following his earlier appearance as Kent Cheng's son in The Greatness of a Hero, he has accepted three other series, advancing in his journey to become a front line Siu Sang.

However on Sunday (May 6th), Matthew had an accident while playing basketball and broke his right hamstring. He was rushed immediately rushed to the hospital and a cast was put on his leg. The injury looks quite serious as he had to undergo surgery too. On Monday (May 7th), [Sudden Weekly] followed Matthew as he transferred to a different hospital. He said: "I'm so unhappy, can't walk now. I'm really afraid I'll turn into a crippled man and I'm dragging the entire filming progression...I feel really sorry."

27 year old former Mr. HK winner, Matthew Ko, had several opportunities to be in series after the contest. However, the majority of his roles were just cameo roles. When Ricky Wong stomped into the television industry and started 'stealing' artists, there has been a shortage of TVB Siu Sangs. Since last year, Matthew had been shooting series nonstop. Earlier this year, he first collaborated with Myolie Wu in House of Harmony and Vengeance and then with Niki Chow and Michael Tse in Sergeant Tabloid. Just recently, he accepted three other series. A TVB staff reveals: "Many producers like to use Matthew because he's got the looks, he's obedient and on time. He's been working for 7 years and his acting has been maturing quite a bit."

'Girlfriend' really worried

It was understood after Matthew's accident, the first person he notified was rumored girlfriend Tracy Ip. On Tuesday, Tracy told [Sudden]: "I know he's in the hospital, and I already sent my regards to him. I told him to rest up. (Will you go visit him?) These things, it's enough that we both know. Hope he recovers soon." [Oriental Daily] Earlier Matthew was spotted having a girl sit on his lap at a bar, Tracy was asked if she's jealous? She said: "I'm not going to be jealous, he had always been popular. I am one of his fans too. We are friends, at most we are just a rumored couple."

Matthew participated in a basketball competition on Sunday night after he finished filming for new series Love Exceeds the Coastline and broke his hamstring. Reporters called Matthew on Monday morning and he explained the accident: "I was running when I suddenly had severe pain on my right leg. Then I couldn't run anymore. It was about 11pm then, so I could only go to the public hospital's emergency room for treatment. The doctor said I broke my hamstring and will have to undergo surgery to put it back in place. I am feeling very unhappy because I can't walk now, I'm afraid I'll turn into a crippled man! Aiya! I started working part-time since I was 15, and have never been out of work for this long!"

It was understood after Matthew's surgery, he will have to be in a cast for 3 months before he can get back on his feet. This means, he must stop working completely for these 3 months. Currently, he has three series on hand including Love Exceeds the Coastline, Justice Pursuit & Attack and Come Home Love. The series that will have the greatest impact due to Matthew's accident is Love Exceeds the Coastline with Raymond Wong and Aimee Chan. Not being able to work for several months, Matthew is very concerned: "I've already been shooting for some 10 days, this time they probably will get someone else to replace me! I just feel so sorry, I affected the entire filming progression. I hope I can get back to work as soon as possible."

Love Coastline's producer Leung Choi Yuen expressed: "Matthew plays a rich boy in this series, he has a very important storyline. There will be some affect, but we can still handle it. He said [we] will have to wait at least several weeks. This series really can't wait, so we are currently looking for other candidates to replace him and re-shoot his scenes."

The on-screen couples Tracy Ip and Wai Kar Hung; Alvina Kong and Kenny Wong from TVB new series 4 In Love emphasizes the love story with the right timing. Tracy and Wai are not seen as a couple that could work in the public eye due to their heights. Alvina and Kenny have been good friends for several years and know each other well, but Alvina's husband played by Patrick Dunn gets in between the relationship when he has a crush on Kenny. The triangle relationship becomes complicated. Today is Valentine's Day, the four lead actors come together to talk about their views on love.

In real life, Tracy and Wai are actually not too far apart in height, but to create the major height difference effect, Tracy puts on 5-inch heels when they were shooting, which led to pain on her feet. However, she later got used to wearing heels all the time and can even run with them comfortably. On the contrary, Wai had to pretend to be shorter than he is, so he usually split his legs a little while standing. The two had to lose weight for the role, Tracy said: "Because in the series, I always have to wear mini skirts and have to appear tall with a nice body figure, so I lost 10 pounds. Each day, I went for a 1 hour jog and went on a diet. Kar Hung lost a lot of weight."

The two had the same feeling, that height is not one of the conditions when choosing a partner. Tracy said: "I think the outer appearance of my partner is secondary, the most important is good character and faithful to me." Wai expressed: "Most important is we get along. I currently don't have a partner yet, can be found but not sought. Tracy and I were rumored before when we were shooting, but actually it's just the story for this series. I believe to portray a role well, you must get into character. This time, it is my comeback to a TVB series after several years, the story is what attracted me." Tracy is grateful that Wai took good care of her and taught her how to act.

Tracy's current love life is completely empty: "Peter So said my love life is rather bumpy, my Mr. Right will appear in 2016. Leave it to fate! I believe there will be this person that loves me. I prefer to be selective and patient. When a girl is too impulsive in their love life, then it easier to hurt themselves." It was said she and Wong Yau Lung have a relationship, have she been hurt? "This is a life experience, I learned from it. It's not every relationship that flowers will blossom."

In the series, Kenny and Alvina have a relationship that feels like they met too late, Kenny said: "Many times, the person that understands you most may not be the person by your side. It is all about the opportunity and timing. I personally experienced this before." In real life, Kenny and his girlfriend have been dating for several years, everything has been going pretty well, but the couple do not have marriage plans yet. Alvina is very happy that she got to collaborate with handsome Kenny, and it was a joyous collaboration. As for herself in real life, she has been married for nearly 10 years. She and her husband need to have mutual understanding of each other and take their spouse's feelings into account. Tolerance gives a long lasting relationship. "Love occupies a great portion of my life, including the love from family, friends and colleagues. This is what allows me to smile often."

Jade Kwan heard the wrong name and went on stage to get Susanna Kwan's award; Gigi Leung walked so fast on stage that she exposed herself; Chin Ka Lok wanted to become Film King and was told straight up that he's not qualified.... anyone will have their embarrassing moments. It's funny when you hear embarrassing stories from others, but sharing your own embarrassing stories is a good deed too to make a brighter day.

Chrissie Chow - heels stuck in a ditch
"Before I entered the industry, I never wear heels, but after I entered, I think I really need to practice. One time, I was wearing 4-inch heels, very thin heels, I was walking alone in Central and carelessly stepped into a ditch. Perhaps that area, the people were used to seeing such sight, but no one came to help me. I bent down and took off my shoes, using both hands to pull the heels out. It was so embarrassing. Now I can wear high thin heels and run."

Miriam Yeung - Called an '8 por' by audience
"I believe that in whatever profession you are in, there will be a chance where people try to make trouble without any reason. I remember several years ago, I was still performing at nightclubs. One night, when I was singing, a customer below the stage pointed at me and said I was really loud. The person even called me a '8 por'. At the time, nobody helped me because they didn't want to offend anyone, I guess. That time, I was just holding in my anger, and smiled embarrassingly, but when I got home I was crying in the corner."

Elanne Kong - embarrassing menstrual period stories.
"I remember when I was still studying in high school, one time I put an used sanitary pad on my teacher's chair. When he came into the classroom and saw it, his face was so red, so embarrassed that he started tearing. He didn't yell at anyone, but I personally felt I've gone too far. I didn't know how to react. My sophomore year, one day I was walking with my brother and suddenly my period comes. I hid in the restroom and asked my brother to buy it for me. I was really in a difficult situation and embarrassed. After this incident, my brother laughed at me for 10 years. Another time, after the award ceremony, perhaps I was sitting for too long and my legs were asleep, but when I was changing backstage, I couldn't take off my boots. I had to find someone to hold me down from the back and one from the front to help me pull it off. It was embarrassing."

Marco Ngai - completely soaked, bulging nipples
"I remember many years ago, TVB notified me to go in for an audition. I was extremely happy. I prepared a white dress shirt and dressed myself like a gentleman. When I walked out the door, it was clearly a bright sunny day, but after walking halfway, it suddenly started pouring hard. Back then, umbrellas weren't sold anywhere. I was afraid to be late, so I just went to TVB with my already soaked clothing. When I entered the recording studio, I was wondering why so many people were measuring me? I looked below and Wah, turns out my white dress shirt was see-through and stuck to my body. My nipples were clearly visible and sticking out, but I had to continue to audition. I really haven't been that embarrassed before."

Him Law - crashes into things
"In the past, I would often chat with people on the streets. One time, I was saying bye while turning around, and unknowingly walked right into the lamppost. That time a tooth fell off. Another time, I was busy chatting and walking and then I crashed into the mailbox. It was painful and embarrassing. Friends were rolling on the floor laughing. Since then I trained myself to become bigger, more built. The most embarrassing was when a female reporter asked me to take off my shirt to take pictures, I immediately felt my face heating up."

Yoyo Mung - known as the 'Auntie'
"When I was in high school, I was like a tomboy, especially one that is exaggerating. I speak loudly and didn't care about the way I dressed. A classmate called me an "Auntie". I didn't mind. It was only until I just got off the bus, and saw that classmate from afar, once he saw me he called me Auntie. I didn't respond, but a 50-60 year old Auntie was next to me at the time, she answered him. When the passengers on the bus all found out that the 'Auntie' was referring to me, I felt weird. I was embarrassed and I knew it was time to re-do my whole image, so I could lose the Auntie nickname."

Kevin Cheng - self-claims he's a Handsome
"One time I attended a promotional event as a guest. I was sitting below the stage, waiting for them to call me up on stage. I suddenly heard the MC shout 'Handsome, please come up'. I subconsciously started walking up on stage, but I saw the MC was looking at another man. I knew then that the "Handsome" the MC was talkinga bout was not me. At the time I didn't know what to do, luckily the MC helped me out and asked me to stay on stage. In the future, I will be more careful before I react."

Tracy Ip - Eats 'added ingredient' dumplings
"I recall an embarrassing and disgusting experience. One time I went to Shenyang to shoot a travel special and had the opportunity to eat the goldfish dumplings. When it was time to shoot, a mosquito came flying at me, the director was a gentleman and helped me shoo it away. However, I accidentally patted his butt and he fell on the goldfish dumplings. We all saw him, but we actually didn't have time to steam the dumplings again, so I had to suck it up and eat the 'added ingredient' scalp dumplings and had to pretend it was so tasty. The others felt bad for me. I was embarrassed, every time I think of it I want to vomit."

Next month, the film [Laughing Gor Turning Point] will be broadcasting on television. Yesterday Tracy Ip and Michael Tse attended the promotional event. There were reports that said Tracy became the middle person between Nancy Wu and Kenneth Ma's relationship. The rumors stated that Tracy introduced Nancy to the north for more money earning? Tracy said: "A friend told me about the cover story of the magazine. I was confused because none of that is true." It was said that she was unhappy because of the reports? Tracy said: "I have already asked a lawyer for advice, I will not talk about it anymore, there is nothing to respond to."

Tracy expressed that she and Nancy do not know each other that well, they have never collaborated before and she does not understand how Nancy's rumors with Kenneth is related to her. Asked if she plans to take legal action? "I have already discussed with a lawyer, I cannot reveal anything now." In the future, is she going to recommend work to others again? Tracy said: "This is not the truth, don't need to keep talking about it. The writers deliberately twisted it and exaggerated. I never recommended anyone for any work."

Michael said that when the film broadcasts, it allows those who haven't seen to have the opportunity and those who have to enjoy it a second time. Just like the new year film [All Well Ends Well] having several sequels, he also hopes that after "Laughing Gor", there will be another creation of a classic character for him.
