Due to the HKRIA dispute with TVB, former Universal Music singer Kay Tse had not been on TVB for over two years. Yesterday she finally makes a comeback at TVB's Jade Singers Red and White Battle blessing ceremony. Other artists including Joey Yung, William Chan and Sherman Chung attended as well.

Kay reveals she already completed all the paper work for the contract termination with Universal, but she cannot reveal anything related to the money. She said: "I had to give back the initial payment, which is reasonable. Today, I've gained my freedom and it's a happy event. I greatly anticipate my participation this time."

As soon as Kay stepped back into TVB, many of the staff and her colleagues came to give her hugs and asked her for autographs. When asked if she'll sign a TVB singer's contract? She said: "Take the next steps first." She admits she is currently in the process of selecting her new record company and hopes she can appear on TVB and other TV stations in the future. Yesterday Kay also met her husband Louis Cheung there, and when reporters asked them to take pictures together, the two were shy at first, but later generously shook hands and took pictures.

In 2009, Kay Tse was evilly influenced by the whole TVB and Universal (HKRIA) royalty disputes, and hasn't been on TVB for two years. Her popularity rapidly fell as a result. Now that Universal finally freed her, and joined Fala Chen's record company "Stars Shine", she can finally reborn on TVB. According to sources, Kay's comeback show will happen on July 7th, where she participates in the TVB Jade's Red and White Battle.

It was said after Kay and Universal 'broke up', record companies Star Entertainment, Gold Label and AMusic all approached her, but Kay eventually decided for Stars Shine because the company was able to pay her the same Pop Queen salary for a two year contract. That means, it is likely she got an initial payment of nearly HK$2 million. Stars Shine's "invisible boss" Fala Chen (her boyfriend Sit Sai Hang, Neway Prince, is rumored as Stars Shine's secret owner), it was said she became a singer just for fun and for the convenience of her earning extra income through stage performances. Despite that, Stars Shine is clearly planning to heavily promote Kay to become the big sister of the company, therefore most of the resources are placed on her.

Yesterday, Kay's manager frankly expressed Stars Shine is one of the companies Kay is considering. As for Kay's comeback appearance on TVB Jade's Red and White Battle? He said: "For now, I have no comment. (Want to break the ice with TVB?) If both sides are sincere, of course we hope for opportunities to collaborate." Stars Shine's executive Herman Ho, was asked about Kay joining the company. He said: "Of course we are considering to sign her!"

Joyce Cheng, who is also a Stars Shine artist, loudly praised that its good Kay's joining her company as a Big Sister: "I'm happy there are more and more people in our company. I've seen and chatted with Kay before at events. She pays a lot of attention to my songs and likes my music. I'm not afraid of competition." Joyce's contract expires next year, but she frankly expressed the chances of her renewing the contract is very high: "My company treats me well and gave me a lot of opportunities. It's not good to keep switching companies."

Yesterday Kay Tse arrived at Metro radio to promote for her latest Mandarin album. When speaking of her upcoming collaboration with Ekin Cheng and Justin Lo on a concert, Kay admits that she's a Ekin fan and anticipates on dueting with him. She said: "I really want to call him big brother. Initially I wanted to duet an 'underworld feel' song with him, but I heard he's singing those alone, so I'll just have to pretend to be Alan Tam and sing If The Sky Wants To Rain (如果天空要下雨)."

Kay expressed that after the release of her new song, she has received good feedback. Later she'll be going to Taiwan to promote and recently there was a new Weibo opened entitled: "Kay Tse Second Home" as an alternative way to promote. There are currently already 10,000 followers.

Yesterday Kay Tse attended an "Early Psychosis Care Day" event to boost the awareness of mood disorders. In the past, Kay suffered from emotional illness due to all the stressful negative news. She received psychiatric treatment and has now recovered. However, towards the "sharp face" rumors, Kay suddenly gets angered and said that someone has a black heart, making up negative news to attack her.

In the past year, Kay has encountered countless amounts of negative news from getting a boob job, to plastic surgery, to getting-off key and even rumors with Eason Chan. Kay said: "I couldn't control my emotions and became emotionally ill. At the time I had confusing thoughts. In a quiet environment, I showed symptoms of depression, sound hallucinations, hearing words that criticizes me. I was under medical treatment for 6 months, but now I have recovered." She admits that she's not adapted to having so much gossips in her entertainment circle job. Now that she is emotionally recovered, she wants to help others who are in need.

When speaking of the recent reports that after Kay came back from Busan film festival in Korea to promote for her new movie, her chin became sharper. Kay was sensitive to the plastic surgery rumors, her face turned blacker and blacker as she spoke and appeared emotional. Kay said: "Why do they have such a black heart? Very black heart! A chin is more important than the Busan Film Festival? That is too superficial! If going to discuss about my chin, why not appreciate myself!" She denied to the plastic surgery rumors, it was suggested that she does what Angelababy did and seek a professional to prove it. Kay said: "Of course I didn't get plastic surgery, I had no time in Korea to do other things besides work. Why do I have to find someone to prove to everyone? I am innocent, no need to think about this topic."

Kay continued: "Every time there is good news, there will also be negative news to attack me. I can only do positive things to counteract them." Asked if this way of thinking is one way of fighting off the emotional illness? She smiled: "No, I can't control my emotions, can just handle it in my own way and face it in a positive manner."

Yesterday Kay Tse attended Po Leung Kuk's charity conference, and expressed that her 3 year old son James Cheung also sponsors kids like herself. Kay also said: "He's pretty good, but always tries to get away with things. When he doesn't finish his dinner, he'll say he wants to leave the rest for the sponsored child to eat, it's obviously because he doesn't want to eat it!"

Kay expressed that her son enjoys a happy school life: "Last night after he finished the show, he bought home a few flowers. Today he bought 3 out and said he wanted to give them to his girlfriend. A magazine recently reported in big letters that Kay Tse is affected by the TVB and Universal Music (part of Big 4) royalty disputes and has had no income for two months. She has to count solely on her husband's earnings to support the family. Kay accepted iCable's interview and denied to the reports. She strongly stressed that is absolutely not someone who has no income: "My participation in business and charity events have gave me reasonable fees. It's just that the business events I do are low-key. There is no reason why I should announce to everyone how much I earn, just that my income has always been stabled. I haven't read the magazine report in detail, but it said that the charity work that I do is not solid income, I can say that I am very thankful of my company for giving me the time to do charity work. Singers should participate in more charity events, sending the message out to fans and let them learn from it."

Neighbor helps Kay shoo reporters away

Regarding being followed and secretly photographed by the paparazzi, Kay expressed that she did not know about it when it happened. It was only when a neighbor was reasoning with the reporters outside a coffee shop that she knew. She said: "The neighbor told Reporters to not bother the Tse Family. That neighbor was very polite, she said that it's rare that I get a day off and still get followed on the streets. She told me to pretend not to see the situation and leave it at that. Actually reporters job is quite dangerous, there was a whole group of neighbors protecting me. To everyone who wants to secretly photograph me, be careful!" Asked if she would go eat at the street vendors since she might get photographed there too? Kay said: "I will still go, it's part of my lifestyle. I hope the media who wants a story don't go bothering my family for one."

Last night Louis Cheung attended Chilam Cheung's mini concert as a guest, towards being excluded from the [Pok Oi Charity Show 2010], he denied. Earlier there were also other jobs that he didn't do, Louis expressed: "It's a critical period, whatever is done is sensitive. TVB is such a large corporation with many programs, have their own mechanism and arrangement." It was also said that he has a contract with TVB, not appearing on their shows, is it because someone doesn't want to work with TVB?! Towards this, he responded with the phrase he made in the concert: "I am not afraid of Eason Chan, I carry a live feather with courage" explaining that he's not afraid of Eason misunderstanding. We do greet one another when we meet, because I was rushing to celebrate my wife's birthday.

Yesterday Kay Tse attended an event for iCable angering TVB and affected her husband Louis' chances in taking part TVB's program [博愛騷]. Kay denied that the issue is related to her, but she and her husband's explanations do not match. She admitted that because he became "unemployed" he had a change in jobs: "The truth I do not know, but they had a new show and still didn't use him. It was an emotionally great impact on him, it was a pretty big impact to him. (Appearing on TV networks outside of TVB, will you keep it low profile?) Singers' jobs do not involve so much politics. (Related to Stephen Chan?) I didn't ask."

Reporters also asked if she would appear in any ATV shows. Kay expressed that she would if her company arranged her to do so. However, there are currently no plans to cooperate with any other TV stations.

It was said that earlier when Kay Tse attended an award ceremony, she exposed herself. The night before yesterday, she attended a opening ceremony for a sunglasses shop and stressed that it was not possible that she exposed herself. She said: "I would always have something under for protection, I'm confident in this matter! (The report said that you were wearing a T-back underwear?) I have always placed safety first. If I had to choose between safety or beauty, I would definitely choose safety. I know when I get in and out of a car, I can expose myself easily, so I always do very careful protection underneath."
