Former Mr. HK Stephen Huynh and his wife Peggy were married yesterday in France. Their wedding banquet was held at a wine castle in France. Over 70 family and friends attended the romantic and heartwarming wedding.

On the day of the wedding, the couple first took pictures, then registered for marriage and in the evening, they kicked off their wedding banquet with a pigeon release ceremony. As the couple held their wedding at a wine castle, grapes were used as the theme, so the groomsmen all had green bow ties. During the marriage registration, Stephen was overjoy in tears. He said: "I was initially really man! But after we exchanged rings and became a married couple, I saw Peggy was already tearing up and she made me tear up as well. Her happiness touched me, I felt so emotional and all my previous efforts paid off."

Stephen vowed to love and treat his wife well: "I hope she'll be the happiest wife ever! (Your next goal is to make babies?) I hope so too, but we have to hold our wedding banquet in HK too, leave it to fate. I don't want my wife to be pregnant during the banquet because it won't be convenient. Relax, I have the heart and ability!" Next year on March 16th, the couple will be holding their 40 table HK wedding banquet at the Intercontinental Hotel

Stephen Huynh and his girlfriend (Peggy) of 3 years will be getting married in France on July 23rd. On March 16, 2013 the couple will be holding their wedding banquet at the Hong Kong Intercontinental Hotel. A few days ago, the couple were doing their wedding photo shoot several different locations. Stephen even spent over HK$200K on a red motorcycle for the photo shoot. His group of 'car buddies' including Michael Tse, Timmy Hung, Alex Fong (Chun Sun), Jordan Chan and Carlos Ng each drove their favorite cars to the location in order to support Stephen.

'My Dream Wedding' sponsored Stephen's photo shoot. He and Peggy were hugging and kissing, looking very heartwarming together. Peggy also had on a 2 karat diamond ring. Stephen frankly expressed the lucky date of his marriage and wedding was chosen by a fortune teller. A winery sponsored his wedding at a castle in Bordeaux, France. As for himself, he personally prepared 6 figures worth of air tickets to fly his friends and family over to France to take part in his wedding.

Stephen has also purchased a 'love nest' already, and now that he has a car, a home and a shop, he frankly expressed it would be perfect if he has children too. However, on imperial orders by his mother-in-law, the couple must practice abstinence before the wedding takes place: "Mother-in-law said we have to brush the hair first, then we'll officially be married after the wedding banquet. I've been pulling through for so long already, might as well just wait until then. I've been wanting to have a baby for a long time, but we have to be 100% ready before we do it. It's not too good to be pregnant at the wedding." As for Peggy, she expressed she has some skin irritations and pimples due to the stress over wedding preparations. When speaking of children, she hopes to have twins.

Also, Michael Tse expressed he heard Stephen was taking wedding photos, so he quickly dropped by to congratulate him. Timmy said he got his license in June, and took advantage of the time when his wife, Janet Chow, was in a good mood to ask if he's allowed to preorder the motorcycle.

tephen Huynh (aka Wong Cheung Hing’s) French restaurant, A La Maison, opened last Tuesday, July 20th. Stephen’s brother, Francois Huynh (aka Wong Cheung Fat) and his good friends, Sharon Chan Man Chi, Matthew Ko Kwan Ying, Vincent Wong Ho Shun, and Oceana Zhu Xuan were present at the restaurant’s grand opening.

Juggling multiple tasks in the kitchen and bar and even cleaning the restaurant’s tables, Stephen was extremely busy. Prior to the restaurant’s grand opening, Stephen entered the hospital due to stomach pains. “On July 15th, we ran a pre-opening test. Perhaps I was too busy and grew anxious. On July 14th, Susana Kwan Kuk Ying brought some friends over to try out the dishes. On that day, I felt extremely ill and finally had to go to the hospital at night. The doctor said I had a stomach flu and with two days of rest, I should feel better. The stress has been too much. Since I invested $500,000 (HKD) in the restaurant, I really hope to make a profit within half-a-year. So each day, I will get anxious about performing the best.”

Although there was a great deal of pressure in starting a business, fortunately Stephen had the support of his girlfriend, Peggy, whom he has been dating for one year. On the grand opening day, Peggy acted as the hostess and greeted all their friends. Stephen smiled, “Peggy works in Marketing/ Public Relations; she is helping out with the restaurant’s administrative work.” (Are you a husband and wife team?) “We have to work hard and establish the business first! Perhaps in another three or four years!”

Stephen also had another piece of good news to share. “Earlier, I filmed French movie, Red Nights, which will be entered in an upcoming Toronto film festival. I am thirty-two years-old now and hope for good developments in all areas.”

Francois helped Stephen to greet guests at the grand opening. Oceana Zhu, who lived in France for a period of time was friendly with the Huynh brothers due to their similar language and cultural background.

Recent tabloids accused Stephen Huynh (aka Wong Cheung Hing) of dating 63-Year-Old millionaire, Margaret Tsui Mei Kei, for money. Tabloids pointed to Stephen’s investment of $500,000 (HKD) in his new French restaurant, “A La Maison” and alluded that he may have secured the funds from Margaret.

Stephen denied the rumors and said he is only friends with Margaret. “Margaret was my dance partner at a charity event last year. We got along well and she felt that I was a hard-working individual. We kept in touch and she asked me to dance with her in two performances prior to the May 29th charity performance. The arrangements was made through TVB. From partners, we became friends. That’s it! I agree with Margaret’s perspective: you should not discriminate friendship based on race, age, nor background.”

Why did romantic rumors between Stephen and Margaret develop? “We had to meet frequently to practice our dance performances. Sometimes we would meet at dance instructor, Mr. Chow’s, place. Or we would go to ‘Dancin’ Jupiter,’ Margaret’s former dance school (she sold the school earlier). But she still rents the place for private dance practice. The location of my restaurant is on the same block as ‘Dancin’ Jupiter.’ I first learned that this restaurant space was available for leasing from talking with the instructors at ‘Dancin’ Jupiter.’”

“I always wanted to open a French restaurant, but I could not believe how the tabloids twisted the facts. I am angry and exasperated by their recent headlines. The reporters have a job, but the story they framed was terrible! Normally, I will not speak up, but they went too far this time. The men from my home town in Chaozhou believe that the men should pay for the bills. They will not use money from women. I worked hard to earn the investment for the restaurant. Margaret intends to sue the tabloid for libel.”

Stephen currently has a 25-year-old girlfriend named Peggy. They met a mutual friend’s birthday party last year. “That evening, Peggy did not say much, but I was attracted by her. I asked her out to dinner afterwards…. Our friends know that we are dating. Since I am an artist, I try to keep my dating life low-profile. Peggy understands this and we normally don’t hold hands when we go out together. When I practiced dancing with Margaret, I brought Peggy to the dance studio. Peggy is aware of what is going on.”

“Peggy just returned from studying in Canada. We have also met each other’s parents.” (Does that mean wedding bells are near?) “Not yet! I have to work harder first; a man should depend on himself. That’s why I am investing in a French restaurant. I am unafraid of working hard; I just want to provide a better future for my family.”

Allegedly, Peggy comes from a wealthy background. She lives in a multi-million dollar independent house in Sai Kung. “In selecting a girlfriend, I consider her personality and looks. I do not care if she has money or not. It’s okay if the woman is older than me by one or two years, but she can not be older than me by five years! Women have a mature level of thinking and they age faster. I really can not accept a woman who is a lot older than me!”

Carol (Dodo) Cheng, Nat Chan, Janice Vidal, Aarif Lee, Christine Kuo, Kayi Cheung and Stephen Huynh attended the blessing ceremony for a TVB charity show. A 60 year old Thai wealthy businesswoman (Tsui Mei Kei) that Stephen met earlier also attended the event. Mrs. Tsui and Stephen will be performing Latin dancing at the charity event, the two generously took a group photo.

Speaking of the recent reports relating to the wealthy businesswoman providing capital for Stephen to open his restaurant, Stephen said helplessly: "The contents in the article is very fake. Mrs. Tsui does plan to take legal action and we have discuss about this matter already, however she said that she will handle it." Speaking of the reports saying that he's dependent on women to take care of him, Stephen was angry and said: "My younger brother didn't know how to speak up, I spoke up for him. (No embarrassment for the Latin dance performance?) No, actually we have collaborated before last year. I make my own money, I don't need to count on women."

Mrs. Tsui also expressed that she's innocent and won't be embarrassed for the Latin dance performance with Stephen. She said: "We are adults, we do what adults do, we have already passed this issue to the lawyers to take care of. Today we are doing charity, don't talk about these things!"
