TVB young FaDan Sire Ma plays Damian Lau's daughter in the current TVB drama Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles. She portrays the daughter of a wealthy man, but has no right or freedom in choosing a spouse, her parents decides everything for her. For this series, Sire traveled with the crew to Shanghai, where they were able to really concentrate on shooting the series because there were no other jobs to distract them. Sire was able to really get into character, in one emotional scene about Sire crying to her father, Damian, her tears naturally came running down. She said: "Actually that scene didn't have much dialogue. I asked Dad, do you know there are a lot of unhappy people in this family? Then I start crying. Damian said he rarely tears up when he watches playbacks of his own scenes. He was re-watching this scene, and had teary eyes. He said my performance was so touching, and I'm happy to have his compliment!"

She and the other cast developed a very good relationship because they were filming for nearly half a year together. They often group chat on WhatsApp. Shooting in Shanghai this time around, she was able to experience how enthusiastic Mainland fans are. The fans would stand in front of the hotel waiting for their idols practically every day. They bring breakfast and late night snacks for their idols and sometimes even daily necessities.

Sire hopes she'll have the opportunity to go to Mainland more often because there is heavy historical feel there, which helps artists get into character easily. As to the series said to leave "heavy flavors"? She believes people shouldn't place all the attention on any one particular scene, "It's just like appreciating artwork, shouldn't be using the erotic view to see it."

In the latest TVB costume series House of Harmony and Vengeance, Sire Ma and William Chak develop a relationship and have created lots of romantic sparks! In the series, Sire plays a dancer and has a crush on her image adviser William. "Because William and JJ [Jia] also have a relationship, and at the time my role thought he liked JJ's type of girls. So I always had to be like JJ, put on heavy makeup and wear sexy clothing. I created a lot of trouble!"

Sire also praised William's diligence in real life and that he knows how to look after the people around him. She said: "I remember we had a scene, where I had to jump into the hot spring. The hot spring had disinfectant added into it, so when I was immersed into the water, it made my throat feel uncomfortable and I felt like coughing. But because the scene was about me passing out, William knew to give me a little shake when he carried me out and that helped blur my appearance on camera, otherwise we would have had to retake the scene several times!"

William frankly expressed they are both under the same manager, so they know each other well in private. He also praised Sire is a good actress and she has an easy to get along personality. In the series, William plays a pretty boy who always wants to look good. William laughed and said in real life, he's quite particular about his looks too: "Most important for guys is to be neat and tidy, but you know I like to play sports and Kung Fu. With exception of having to put on makeup for work, I usually don't really care about these things in my personal life, haha."

Former Miss HK, Sire Ma, has recently been shooting in Shanghai for TVB new series Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles. It was rumored she and 'The Voice Singer' Adrian Chau developed a real relationship during filming. Sire becomes entangled in Adrian and his lengmo girlfriend (Coco) relationship. Lately, Coco went up to Shanghai to personally monitor her boyfriend.

Yesterday Sire accepted a telephone interview and denied that she's the third party: "I don't know what she (Coco) looks like nor do I know her. Adrian and I were rumored earlier on and I already responded, we are just partners and colleagues." She frankly said yesterday she had scenes with Adrian, but there was no awkwardness: "We are just working together, and even talked about that issue. (Coco said she doesn't want to mention you at all, are you upset?) I don't want to talk about other people. I didn't know she was in Shanghai, nor have I ever met her."

As for Adrian, who was photographed sweetly linking arms and shopping at the mall, denied the romantic relationship: "Coco and I are just friends. We have known each other for 8 months, she just came to Shanghai to visit a relative and conveniently met up with me. (Brought you to meet her parents?) No. (Take her to the airport?) Just being polite! (Coco said men get itchy if not carefully watched over?) I will ask her about this, but right now I have to work and haven't had time. (Sire got dragged into the water?) I don't know why its like this."

Yesterday when Coco learned her boyfriend Adrian denied to admit that she was his 'girlfriend', she appeared shocked: "I know his company don't allow him to admit it. I don't know how to lie, nor can I comment on how his company manages their artists. After all, I am without regrets."

Ron Ng, Rebecca Zhu, Kenneth Ma, Sire Ma, Adrian Chau and the rest of the cast and crew of TVB new series Silver Spoons, Sterling Shackles are shooting in Shanghai for 3 weeks. Producer Chong Wai Kin expressed due to the nice weather in the last 5 days, the cast went out in the sun for pictures every day.

Lately, it has been rumored that Sire and Adrian have developed a relationship while shooting the series. It was reported that Adrian stayed overnight in Sire's room and the two appeared very sweet off-cameras. In fact, Adrian is already dating Chrissie Chau's junior, lengmo Coco. It was further rumored that Adrian is a two-timer and Sire became the third party. Yesterday while Adrian and Sire were in Shanghai shooting, Coco quickly flew over to monitor the two and even crashed into the hotel the cast were staying in.

On the day when the cast didn't have to work, Coco pulled her boyfriend out shopping in the mall near the hotel. Unexpectedly, Coco's love opponent Sire was also shopping at that same location with JJ Jia and Vincent Wong. It was said 'third party' Sire and 'girlfriend' Coco didn't even greet one another when they bumped into each other and made the situation awkward.

Yesterday, reporters contacted Coco and when asked about her boyfriend and Sire Ma's rumors, Coco criticized: "Once unfaithful, always unfaithful. Men must watch out no matter what! If I'm not here, he'll get itchy. (Did you see Sire there too?) Yeah, I'm not interested in meeting [her], don't want to see this person! (It was rumored she's stealing your boyfriend?) After all, a guy who already has a girlfriend, [she] shouldn't be coming near!"

As Sire and Adrian's rumors are getting pretty hot, Mary Hon and Damien Lau, who play Sire's parents in the series are often posting wedding photos on Weibo and praises that Adrian is a 'good son-in-law' and agreed to be the 'matchmaker' for them. Mary first uploaded a photo of the two holding hands off-cameras, while running up the stairs, Mary wrote in the captions: "Wah! Already done shooting and still holding? Will someone get jealous?"

Also, Ron Ng once had rumors with Sire and can finally 'get out' and focus on his bitter relationship with Rebecca Zhu. In the series, Rebecca and Ron cannot be married because Rebecca has to marry Kenneth. The two were shooting a parting scene, where Rebecca has to cry while she breaks up with Ron.

TVB Siu Sang Ron Ng was recently said to have hooked up with two TVB actresses Kate Tsui and Sire Ma and was labeled 'girl butcher'. Although the three parties involved have already clarified the rumors, Ron still felt upset. Yesterday he issued a statement through his company that he is taking legal action on Next Magazine to get his justice back.

Ron expressed through the statement that the contents in the magazine report basically completely fiction and believes this seriously damages his reputation as well as the involved artists. After discussing with his lawyer, he decided to send a legal letter to the magazine, asking for compensation and a logical explanation. Currently in Suzhou shooting a series, last night he accepted a phone interview and frankly said: "Next Magazine has already published false reports about me several times. In the past, I can tolerate it, but this time it is really over the line. They have stepped over my bottom line and I cannot not speak up. Then in the future, is it going to be all their game?"

When asked about the compensation, Ron expressed that he does not have the numbers yet, but feels that no matter what, he wants a public apology from the magazine at the very least. He admits that the story lost reality, he said: "Writing it like that can really cause an affect to my character, erasing all my hard work. I never relied on cheating or sticking (by someone). I had to endure through all those hard times, like late night work."

Kate Tsui strongly supports

As the female lead of this issue, Kate frankly agrees that the report does in fact have an impact on Ron. She said: "It's unfair to him, since he already decided to take legal action, then as a good 'brother' of his, I will support him no matter what." As for Sire Ma, she could not be contacted.

Ron's formal statement
On May 5, 2011, issue number 1104 of Next Magazine published a headline entitled 'Girl Butcher' Ron Ng Lives in Sire Ma's House and Eats off Kate Tsui' (姐仔屠夫 吳卓羲住馬賽屋食徐子珊). The report is absolutely inconsistent, and poses a serious impact on mine and the involved artists' reputation. After consultation with my lawyer, I hereby issue a legal letter to the magazine company, requesting for compensation and a logical explanation in order to retrieve my justice. I hereby put out this formal statement.

Yesterday Ron Ng attended the Yes Sir, Sorry Sir promotion and clarified the rumors of cohabiting with Sire Ma and dating Kate Tsui. He expressed that he doesn't know Sire Ma that well and they are just colleagues, not to mention cohabiting. He also stressed that Sire is not the type of girl he likes. When asked why he was so outright? He said: "Because the reports are saying that I'm using her money, I don't know if she has money or not. I really mind when people say I'm spending women money. I put in great efforts in earning my own money, I don't need to spend a woman's money." Meanwhile, Sire also denied the cohabiting rumors, and said that the reports are completely false. However, because before when they were shooting series together, Ron took good care of her and she will refer him as a "See Hing" (senior at work).

Started out as a Miss HK, Sire Ma made a breakthrough in her O.L Supreme role last year. Soon after, she had series after series, and one of the rising FaDans that TVB is currently promoting. When many FaDan and Siu Sangs are leaving, she frankly said it did not affect her confidence to work hard for a higher position: "They have their own choices, if they are really leaving, then it's a pity. This means that I'll have less seniors to learn from, especially Charmaine Sheh, many directors have praised her acting. She is my goal!"

"Obtained does not mean Money"

Asked if she feels the full experience of being promoted, she said she is grateful of TVB's support: "Don't mention heavily promoting or not, TVB really looks after me, giving me opportunities to MC, host and shoot series! (Satisfied with performance?) If I didn't do well, they won't ask me again!" Modest self-confidence is the exact attitude newcomers have.

As for TVB treating Sammul Chan harshly? Sire said shooting series is definitely going to be difficult: "It's not just TVB, shooting films is just the same! Although the salary here is in fact not high, but the most important is I like it!" She reveals that her highest record was she only got to sleep for 40 minutes in two days, but she enjoyed this type of 'school' lifestyle: "Other companies outside won't give you so much time to train, it is a really good school here. Sometimes it's not about the money!"

Currently Relic of an Emissary is airing, which is Sire's first costume drama. This is also her first time challenging a tragic role, she plays a girl that was sold to a whorehouse and even has a rape scene. She said: "When I was reading the script, I already started crying! One time my mom came to visit the set, I was so down I didn't want to talk, only sent a SMS to ask for her understanding." She said that when she was shooting the rape scene, she let it all out, only had a tube and underwear underneath: "I believe them, rarely does the scriptwriters allow me to portray this type of character, someone who is so different from myself!"

Sire appears to be an obedient girl, and she believes 'righteous' is the suitable word to describe herself. During her free time, she loves to look at horoscopes, she laughed: "In some areas I am a typical Leo, have lots of principles!" Her family background shaped her personality. Her maternal grandfather was formally in the military, while her paternal grandparents are college professors, her mom loves to pass on the principles in the books. Her family is full of 'righteousness', and Sire was already the class leader in middle school. How does she handle the difference with her company? She said: "There is really not much that I don't like doing! So far it's been quite comfortable, but I won't go down the sexy path or do bikini shows!" What disappointed her the most was the news that she was involved in a wealthy dinner party last year: "After all, the innocent remains innocent!"

Epilogue: Love, treat it as luxury!

Currently single, Sire is pursuing work more than love: "Dating is actually a waste of time, of course it is enjoyable. Like that night when I saw Cecilia and Nic at the HK Film Awards, it was really sweet, but relationships requires a lot of time and commitment. To me, it is a luxury! (Isn't that dry?) There is a relationship line when shooting series! It's okay, can be satisfying!"

Rumored with countless co-stars such as Ella Koon Yan Na, Elanne Kwong Yeuk Lam, Toby Leung Ching Kei, Kate Tsui Chi Kei, Wong Ying, and Charmaine Sheh Si Man in the past, TVB heart-throb Ron Ng Cheuk Hei may have moved on to a new love interest. The 31-year-old Ron may have fallen for OL Supreme co-star, 22-year-old Sire Ma Choi.

In OL Supreme, Ron and Sire play a couple and shared frequent scenes together. Due to her sweet features and 32C figure, Sire has gained new popularity recently. Despite keeping their distance publicly, Ron allegedly fell for Sire shortly after OL Supreme started filming in July 2009. According to inside sources, Ron often drove Sire home and gave her small gifts. Allegedly, Sire bought a house in Tseung Kwan O to be closer to Ron’s home as well.

Many celebrities maintain their own blogs online. Earlier, Sire uploaded photos of Ron and herself, while using a morphing software to produce a photo of what their “daughter” would look like. Sire said that she spent one hour awaiting the morphed results of the baby photo.

Elaine Yiu and Sire Ma never worked together, but they're both good friends with Suki Tsui and are Suki's bridesmaids last year. Elaine said she really wants to get married. She said: "Many friends are married or planning to get married. I also hope my Mr. Right will appear soon. Too bad it's hard to find a boyfriend as an artiste. Good men in the showbiz are already married."

Sire said she hasn't meet the right person and would focus on her career right now, and imagine dating actors she work with in series like Ron Ng and Raymond Lam, etc. She said: "Suki is a girl who is daring to love, but I have to think carefully before doing everything, guess I will plan to get married at least after I'm 30." Summer is comming and many female artistes will show off their good bodies in swim wear shows to earn money. Elaine said she doesn't mind and she wants to walk lingerie shows the most. She explained: "I want to walk lingerie shows more than swimwear ones, I think lingerie can show off one's body curves more, also you can be like Jessica C, your bust size will gain a cup, but first I have to try hard to gain weight, it would look better if I'm chubbier."

Always have a lean body, Sire also gained weight successfully and she's ecstatic: "Because I worked with Bobby Au-Yeung in '(不速之約),' we've been eating a lot everyday these two months. We even ate the food (props) on the set!" Sire said now she gained weight, Bobby said they look like siblings. She said: "I play Bobby's younger sister in the series. He always say, Ah Mui, you got chubbier lately. You're going to film ancient series soon, I'm worry the fat would appear on your face, it's time to start to control the amount you're eating.
