Maggie Cheung is currently busy shooting CTI's new series Hakka Women in Donggaun. She took some time off to attend skincare brand Sulwhasoo's evening banquet. She reveals the filming process has been going smoothly and she's having a good time. She's not only in a good mood, but also getting more and more spirit as she films. It was said Maggie's a 'traitor' and TVB has cut her off? Maggie's eyes widen in reaction, she said: "Wah! That's scary! I don't think so, TVB is my maternal home, a place where I grew up in. At this stage, I am just going out to work. The world is round, who knows, there may be a chance where we meet again. Relax!" It was rumored the female lead role of The Confidant initially belonged to her, does she feel it's a pity that she couldn't be part of it? She said: "I've been filming in Dongguan, so the real loss is that I haven't had the opportunity to watch the series. I support Wayne Lai and Michelle Yim. I believe they definitely did a great job."

Maggie is just like Charmaine Sheh, both of them are not tied under a TVB contract. It was said there is still a chance that she can take the TV Queen title this year? Maggie did not dare to claim it: "Is there a 'Most Improved' award? I don't have a contract with TVB, so I think my chances for the award is quite slim."

Yesterday the 'devil' boss of CTI, Ricky Wong, a pre-shooting ceremony for new series Hakka Women all the way in Dongguan, Guangzhou. The cast including Maggie Cheung, Prudence Liew, Savio Tsang and Poon Chan Leung attended. Lately, Ricky has been very upset with the government for delaying the issue of CTI's free-to-air TV license. Yesterday Ricky continued to express his anger, he said they have already been waiting 1022 days for the government to issue the license, and declared he has requested the legislative council (LegCo) to follow up on this matter. Maggie and Prudence urged everyone to have patience, Maggie said: "Time is require to start the TV station and the government issuing licenses is a process!" Prudence said: "There is no way [CTI] can't get it!"

Maggie just joined CTI and already started bashing TVB indirectly. She expressed her new boss is so warm, and has the script all ready before work starts. "Mr. Wong loves us dearly, making us all feel sorry. I will do my best! (TVB wasn't like that before?) Never had that, I wasn't that close with the executives! (There's no turning back for bashing TVB?) I'm not going to think about things too far into the future! Enjoying life and work now!" It's been many years since Prudence has been in a TV series, she also praised CTI for taking the production so seriously, as if it was a film. She will also sing the theme song and sub songs for this series.

It was rumored Maggie is being indecisive and thinking of going back to TVB, but Maggie denied, she said: "I saw the news online saying that I'm indecisive, but I haven't been thinking that much. I have faith in CTI, there are many series to shoot. (Rumored you secretly contacted TVB?) I cannot do that, that's immoral. I'm denying this rumor." Although she currently has a contract with CTI, but she still has her freedom. Technically, she can appear on other TV stations, but she cannot attend The Last Steep Ascent promotions for TVB? She said: "I understand I'm in an awkward position and I also understand producer Lee Tim Shing's difficulty. I don't think TVB is being sensitive, it is just business related company policies. Isn't it better with less work?"

Yesterday Moses Chan, Aimee Chan, Samantha Ko, Kenny Wong, Edwin Siu, KK Cheung and the rest of the cast of TVB new series The Last Steep of Ascent attended the promotional event in Tseung Kwan O. The group played 'ladder of heaven' games, but lead actress Maggie Cheung and Joel Chan were absent. A few days ago Maggie, who has already switched over to TVB's competitor CTI, expressed she would be happy to help TVB promote the new series but producer Lee Tim Shing said: "Nope, it's a policy issue. She signed a contract with another company, so there is no reason why she should be promoting for another TV station."

Joel and Stanley Ho's daughter Florinda Ho are currently dating happily. Tim Gor was asked if he asked Joel to help promote the series? He said: "He's in China. (Apparently he went on vacation with Florinda to Europe?!) At the time, he said he's going to China to do business. Actually, I haven't included him in on the promotions. I'm not even sure if he's still acting. When he gets back to work, then I'll ask him again. (Will this affect the promotions?) Cannot say if its going to affect it or not, but of course its best if everyone is here."

Moses and Aimee appeared at the promotion as a couple. Although they didn't hold hands, they still had a generous attitude. Moses was asked if he felt embarrassed? He said: "Nope, we keep work and personal lives separate." When speaking of Maggie absent from the promotion? Moses said: "I'm not sure. Let TVB make the arrangements. Of course it will be happily with everyone is here, but perhaps there are some policies issues. Well she can still provide her support at home by watching TV. Actually, I hope they'll (CTI) do well because that helps the television industry, but this cannot be achieved easily."

Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung was said to be unhappy with the latter for enjoying similar treatment despite her seniority.

Hong Kong businessman Ricky Wang recently set up a new broadcasting company that is set to rival against Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), and brought along with him popular actors and actresses like Felix Wong, Maggie Cheung, Frankie Lam and Bernice Liu.

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the new company last Friday, tensions were high at the event as actress Bernice Liu and Maggie Cheung were spotted giving each other the cold shoulder.
Maggie was allegedly poached to join the new company at a skyrocket price. Another actress who will enjoy such prestige will be Charmaine Sheh, who is also set to join the line-up.

According to reports, the reason for Maggie's hostility was due to fellow actress Bernice Liu, who despite being ditched by TVB last year, was signed on and given similar treatment in the new company.
On the day of the event, Maggie looked displeased as she stood next to Bernice on stage, and refused to make eye contact or any form of handshake with the latter.
At the media interviews later, Maggie proceeded to sit at the back rows despite being arranged to sit in front with Bernice.

"It is better not go over there, there's too much negative energy.... I really don't understand... (She had) such poor acting skills!" Maggie was overheard muttering, as she made her way behind.

(Source: CNNMoney)

(aZnangel's translation starts here...)

Felix Wong, who was said to be CTI's 'First Brother', expressed yesterday he signed the contract last week and will first shoot first shoot a science fiction detective series. He said: "I already discussed with the director, and it's going to be quite difficult to film because we don't want to use too much special effects. (Is the scriptwriter and director former TVB employees?) I know them all. We can easily communicate and it's a new environment here. There aren't many restrictions, so they can all really use their imaginations."

Earlier Felix criticized TVB as 'Totally Very Bad', he was asked how he would described his new company? He spoke in HK-style English: "Can Do Independence. Mr. Wong (Ricky Wong) gives us a lot of room to develop and we can work independently too." Asked if he will invite his good brother Michael Miu over too? He said: "I think they already discussed before. Each individual has their own ambitions, he still has a contract with TVB. He said himself he wants to observe more first."

As for CTI 'First Sister', Maggie Cheung she expressed she will start working for the new company in the next half year. She'll be collaborating with Patrick Tam and Prudence Liew in the new series. She said: "There's a lot of freedom collaborating with Mr. Wong. There are no set years in the contract, just discuss one series at at ime. After completing one series, if I'm happy, then we can collaborate again. (More attractive than TVB?) No need to say it! We all understand TVB's policies can't be changed overnight and I want to find a place suitable for myself." She expressed at the present time she won't be considering TVB, but does not guarentee that there won't be opportunities to collaborate again in the future.

Frankie Lam signed a two year contract and expressed he'll have more time to stay in HK. He greatly praised the new company having high degree of freedom.

The war between the free TV stations can happen any moment now. Ricky Wong's new television station, CityTelecom's (CTI) license will be formally issued soon. Since last year, Ricky had been poaching TVB artists and employees and because of the high degree of freedom and good pay, it was said many Siu Sang, FaDans and the Green Leaves have been considering to switch over. Among them includes TV Queen candidate Maggie Cheung, who is confirmed to move over to become Ricky's valued artist!

Maggie's series War and Beauty and Old Time Buddy are well acclaimed series, and in 2003 she was crowned TV Queen for her role as Lui Sei Leung in King of Yesterday and Tomorrow. After an unfortunate brief hiatus due to an illness, Maggie returns to TVB, but her value in the company does not compare to the past. Earlier she participated in new series Ladder to Heaven, but her limelight was stolen by the 'fresh new couple' Moses Chan and Aimee Chan. She quickly felt the need to leave, so last year although she made it on the Top 5 for TV Queen at the TVB Anniversary Awards, the discouraged Maggie did not attend the ceremony.

It was said, Ricky has great appreciation for Maggie and that he moved her by offering her HK$14,000 per episode. This is 7 times higher than what she gets in TVB. A palace-themed drama has also been tailored for her to start in August and air in November in attempt to incite TVB during their anniversary. She will have a great chance to fight TVB's grand production War and Beauty II! In fact, she was initially invited to take part in another grand production series The Great Eunuch with Wayne Lai and play Empress Dowager Cixi, but at the time she was already thinking of leaving, so eventually the role was given to Michelle Yim. However, Maggie still haven't announced to the public about her decision, all because of her relationship with TVB. Regarding this, her assistant Miss Lam expressed Maggie is currently in Beijing filming and cannot respond now.

Ladder to Heaven's shooting had just completed, but because lead actress Maggie has already decided to move to Ricky's CTI, it was rumored the series will be 'buried' in the storage. Soon to retire producer Lee Tim Shing is also the producer of Ladder. Yesterday he strongly supported his new series over the phone: "I don't think so right? This was a high-budgeted series. (Have TVB mentioned this series?) Nope, but I'm not thinking about it, what does it have to do with me?! (Has post-production started?) Just started editing. (When will it be airing?) There is no schedule yet, so TVB won't be handling this series as a priority, but I have time, so I'm editing it first!"

Also, it was said Charmaine Sheh is in the lineup to move over as well, but she still has a contract with TVB, just that her management company is collaborating with CityTelecom. As for Kenix Kwok and Jessica Hsuan, it has not been confirmed if they are joining CTI yet.

Maggie Cheung and fresh out of the oven Lives of Omission TVB's 'Best Supporting Actor' Ben Wong are currently being rumored. Already married, Ben and Maggie were photographed eating out together at the TVB canteen. Yesterday Maggie attended a LONGINES ribbon cutting ceremony, and denied that she and Ben were dating and eating together. She thinks of the rumor as a joke, just for laughs and is amusing. Ben is a very good gentleman, and she knows Mrs. Wong too. There is no need to explain to Mrs. Wong: "I was just having a meal with him at the TVB canteen. At the time my assistant and I were eating together, but then I saw him eating alone, so I told him to join us."

She stressed she will not find her other half at work. Maggie said: "I give myself very strict regulations, work is work. I keep work and personal life completely separate. That's why my boyfriends in the past were all people from outside of the industry." She also hopes her Mr. Right appears soon. On Christmas, she will be celebrating with her family and later go on a photography trip to Switzerland with friends. Will she be like Gigi Leung and have a long distance romance? She feels long distance romances are hard to maintain, but all is left to fate.

Yesterday Ben attended a separate event and explained that day he saw there was an empty seat, so he sat down. It is because he has known Maggie for many years and just bumped into her at the canteen. Next time he may just have to sit with the crew for lunch, perhaps that would be better. However, what shocked him most was his wife was photographed too. He said his wife is not very courageous and is shy, so he rarely takes her out to events.

Maggie Cheung previously suffered from thyroiditis and had to put her work on hiatus. In the recent year, she repeatedly appeared back in her maternal home, TVB, to shoot series. This year she depends on her role in Forensic Heroes III for the "Best Actress Award" and "My Favorite TV Female Character Award" nominations. Athough in 2003, she was already crowned TV Queen, she won't let the younger generation take advantage. In the series, she fights hard for a good performance, so she can seize the TV Queen title once again!

In 2003, Maggie won Best Actress for her role in The King of Yesterday and Tomorrow. Although she hopes to win again, but the major gain is to be able to challenge herself. She said: "It has almost been 10 years since I've been hanging on wires [for shooting]. In this series, I had many first time and felt like a newcomer all over again."

Putting all that effort in, of course Maggie hopes for it to pay off. She said: "Of course I have thought about getting awards, but this year the competition is fierce. (Is your goal to be TV Queen?) Of course I hope so! This is the driving force for me to go to work! (Who is your strongest opponent?) Each one of them are good, it would be best if we all get an award!" As for the TV King battle, she clearly couldn't decide: "Of course I'm supporting Wayne Lai! (He already got it twice though!) Then I'll choose Moses Chan. I'm currently shooting Ladder to Heaven with him, haha!"

Maggie stopped working for a period of time, but is getting back on track as she is accepting both series and films. She hopes boost her popularity back up to its peak. When asked if she plans to go up north (Mainland) to dig the gold? She expressed the opposite view: "My parents are getting older afterall, I don't want to go too far. As Wayne says, the conditions of the work in Mainland may not neccessarily be better than HK. I personally may not be able to adapt to such pattern, so in the meantime I won't consider to work in Mainland."

I personally don't have many friends." He also said he rarely talks about personal matters with Maggie.

Yesterday the event was related to exercise and household hygiene, Claire reveals last year her daughter suffered from hand-foot-mouth disease and even infected her father (Thomas Lam). Yesterday Maggie Cheung attended an event for a skincare brand (Astalift). When speaking of the rumors that War and Beauty II producer Jonathan Chik disliked how she has an "Ah Jeh" attitude, so dropped her from the cast? Maggie expressed she does not believe this and explained that she didn't shoot the WABII sales presentation because she was too busy: "I was shooting Empress Lu's sales presentation. One person cannot shoot two series." She also denies the rumor that she and Aimee Chan are fighting for more screen time in new series Ladder to Heaven. She clarified she has a good relationship with Aimee: "She's so cute. She matches Ah Mo (Moses Chan) really well, like a married couple." Regarding to the high ratings for Forensic Heroes III, Maggie laughed and said she does not dare to be happy too early. She hopes the ratings will remain strong and continue to increase.

Also, it was said Maggie had a traditional Chinese doctor examine her and had plans to marry her millionaire boyfriend (Tsang Anbang). Her assistant Ms. Lam responded: "Any normal person would go see a doctor. You have to maintain good health in order to be able to work. Don't say she's rejuvenating, such nasty comment! (She's getting married?) No plans for marriage in the short-term. This is a happy event, she will announce it."

TVB new series Forensic Heroes III premiered last night. The average premiere rating was 34 points and peaked at 35 points. For now, FH3 is the leader of the highest rated premiere in 2011. TVB is holding a celebration today to boost the momentum.

Lead actor Wayne Lai learned of FH3's high premiere rating and felt very happy. He believes the ratings will continue to rise, and may have a chance to reach 37 points on average. Wayne expressed if the average rating is 35 points, he will treat everyone for a meal. Earlier Wayne only had 50% confidence to get TV King depending on FH3. Asked if he has 90% confidence now? Wayne laughed: "Nope! About 80% confidence."

FH3 producer Miu Siu Ching said she felt surprised that FH3 is this year's leader of highest premiere rating. She had confidence for the series to lead with a "3" (30+ PTS), but didn't expect it to reach that hight of 35 points. She felt it's amazing and thanked audience for all the support. Miu Siu Ching is the producer for the Forensic Heroes trilogy and expressed FH3 is the highest rated among the three. Compared to the production a few years ago, this time the series was able to incorporate high tech equipment. She said Kate Tsui used real Kung Fu to do her fighting scenes and didn't use a stunts double. Earlier it was rumored she and her husband (Producer Lau Ka Ho) were planning to leave TVB to develop in China? She expressed she is currently busy with Prosperous Father and will focus on completing the production before considering other matters.

Maggie Cheung reacts to Netizen's Tablet computer complaints

Also, Netizens have been comparing Wayne's FH3 with Bobby Au-Yeung's FH1 and FH2. There are also criticisms that the heavy use of Tablet PCs are overwhelming on the eyes. Lead actress Maggie Cheung saw the comments and replied on Weibo: "Tablets are used for work, why the big reaction? I thought for a long time, its baffling. What is the difference between a tablet PC and a laptop? This is very common in today's world. Don't tell me you are all still living in the stone age? Or perhaps still pursuing the 80s TV series"

Maggie Cheung and Kenny Wong were shooting for the 2012 TVB Sales Presentation series Legend of Empress Lu (tentative). That day, the scene was about the Empress (Maggie) executing Han Xin (Kenny). Having to hang on wires, Kenny expressed he almost couldn't breathe.

Maggie expressed she's not sure if she's actually going to be shooting this series, she said: "It is all unconfirmed. I haven't done a costume drama since 2004. Several years ago, I played Empress Lu before in The Conqueror's Story, but because the story focused on the men, I didn't have much part in it. If there is an opportunity, I do hope to play Empress Lu again."

Still under a per-series contract with TVB, Maggie said frankly both Stephen Chan and Virgina Lok have approached her to discuss the contract renewal. When speaking of the decrease in TVB FaDans, asked if TVB hopes she'll sign a management contract? Maggie said: "It has been very comforting collaborating with my manager. For all other matters, we still need to discuss in detail. As an artist, of course I hope to get good roles and participate productions. (Has Ricky Wong contacted you?) If I said no, I would be lying to you. In fact, we chatted before, but I still need some time to about it."

Earlier she went to Xi'an (in China) for a vacation, but not with her boyfriend. She said: "There were men and women on the trip, just my old classmates and their families. It's hard to find people like-minded to go together with me. I currently have great interest in Chinese culture. (Why didn't your boyfriend go?) You ask him yourself."

Michael expressed he's excited that the premiere to his new series Lives of Omission got over 30 points TV ratings. He also intends to host a celebration. Wayne Lai and Maggie Cheung were shooting yesterday morning at Yuen Long for new series Forensic Heroes III. The scene was about a fire that started while the two were investigating a case and found the criminal. However, they were kidnapped and locked into a steel siding room. The criminal wanted to murder them by setting the place on fire. Fortunately, the police arrived on time to rescue them.

That day, Wayne and Maggie were trapped in the steel sliding room, burning and heating up for a day. This time they even got burned by the fire. Wayne joked: "So difficult! I truly chose the wrong series and I thought I'm just going to do some research in a forensics office building, but didn't know it would be like this!"

However, Wayne was just joking, of course he understands that the series will only be good to watch with some dangerous scenes.

For safety reasons, there were many fire extinguishers on the set and a special skilled team that would stop the fire once the director called cut. Asked Wayne if he felt the scene was dangerous? He frankly said: "It's hard to say, no one knows about fire, can't guess it, but the technology is advanced now. (Is there a stunts double?) Nope! We want it to be dangerous! In fact, just a small scene that is a little dangerous, if there is a stunts double that came out, the effect wouldn't be as good. (Does your wife know your shooting such a dangerous scene?) Don't have to tell her, I've been working for so many years. If there is anything, I will tell the director that I can't do it, or just leave!"

Likes the excitement

Also, the optimistic Maggie was asked if she's worried that there might be an accident that disfigured her? She said: "I'm not afraid, but rather I think it's exciting. The producer made this scene because he wants it to be good, like some people think hanging on wires is difficult, but I think it's fun. The most important is the scene comes out good, then the scene is valuable. I believe the special effects team did all the safety measures."

Yesterday Wayne Lai and Maggie Cheung were dressed in wedding attire to shoot for TVB new series Forensic Heroes III. Wayne was being very secretive and was not willing to reveal if it was a successful marriage for him and Maggie. He just said that the series is considered a happy ending.

When speaking of Max Mok's arrest in Beijing for drug abuse, Wayne said: "I have read the news. I don't think I formally collaborated with them yet, but I have seen him before at events. Actually Max gives people a healthy image, perhaps the issue isn't true. Honestly, have to be careful in Beijing when going out to socialize, it's complex there. At the scene, it maybe a boss's friend's friend, or perhaps they don't know each other, didn't know what he ate or drank. So I don't choose to stay in Mainland for a long period because I don't like to socialize. (It's not everyone that can make big money in HK?) Loss is small, in Hong Kong you can decline, also it's not as complex here."

Maggie also heard of the news, and hopes that Max be okay. She said that artists still have principles, image is very important and have to have self-control in life. As to this wedding scene, Maggie laughed: "No feeling. Because the schedule is so rushed, I wasn't able to get my emotions out. (When will you really get married?) Leave to fate, my boyfriend hasn't mentioned it yet, we are currently in the moment of joy."

A rebel! Not convinced of losing the award, Charmaine Sheh fakes her injury and refuses to work, leading TVB series Forensic Heroes III to switch out her role and caused a big confusion within the crew. Unfortunately, they encountered a troublesome person, Maggie Cheung, who picked up after Charmaine. Maggie had an attitude and wouldn't cooperate, often NGing slowing down the shooting progress. Initially the crew planned to finish shooting in 2 months, but now they can only speed up shooting. The entire crew are shouting in complaints. Last week, reporters discovered that during outdoor shooting, Maggie is indeed qualified, ignoring Kate Tsui, Ron Ng and other the younger generation cast. She only wished to talked to TV King Wayne Lai with her 'Ah Jeh' attitude.

An insider said: "If it wasn't for Ah Sheh (Charmaine) who withdrew from the series, Maggie wouldn't even get the chance to shoot FH3!" This is one of the gossips widely spread around TVB City. The criticisms directed towards Maggie and no other, it was said that the whole crew dislikes this past "little sister", slowing down the shooting progress. "Perhaps she thinks she's really the Ah Jeh!"

In reality, Maggie blew off many series for better income. Unfortunately after she did Mainland series (長恨歌) up north, she suffered from thyroid disease due to all the pressure and emotional issues. Her eyes and face were swollen, her hands were shaking and her heartbeat increased rapidly. Eventually, she had to stop working for a year to rest.

Charmaine, widely rumored to be leaving TVB in May to head up north, used the reason of her joint dislocation injury to withdraw from FH3. It was rumored that Maggie was dying to replace her, but being experienced does not mean she's capable. She appeared nervous and because she plays a coroner, her lines are very professional and cannot be said wrong. She was NGing so much it scares people to death.

To understand the truth, reporters visited the set for two days. The first day was a simple scene between her and Wayne, but Maggie was completely out of it, she NGed frequently and they ended up shooting the scene for the entire afternoon. This caused trouble for her co-star Wayne, who had to withstand the cold for so long. Fortunately he reluctantly got through it with the help of the sunlight. Off-cameras, Wayne and Maggie don't have much interactions, for lunch, they go their separate ways to eat until its time to start the next scene.

On the second day, they were shooting a scene where a corpse was found in the garbage bin. The coroner Maggie was wooden the whole time, when she saw reporters she made a fuss and just hopped into the car for no reason. She frequently NGed, often fixing her makeup and even wanted the staff to test the positions before she's willing to start working. Asked how she's feeling, Maggie's eyes grew big as she tried to defend herself: "In fact, after shooting Beauty Knows No Pain I already got used to shooting series again. Right now I'm going into a tight state of mind, considered okay. As a coroner, always having to do postmortem exams and report the cause of death, the lines are difficult to say. One night, I was so nervous my back started sweating as I said my lines. I felt so stiff and NGed 8 times. This broke all records among my line of veteran artists! Wayne NGs too, but the numbers aren't as much." Even dragged her partner into the water? Good one!

Yesterday Wayne Lai and Maggie Cheung were shooting outdoor scenes for TVB new series Forensic Heroes III. Maggie told the 'TV King' Wayne to shine some luck to her. Wayne embarrassingly said: "This is just false reputation!" Maggie did not give up, she complained that Wayne gave her the cold shoulder, leaving her all alone to eat by herself. Maggie said: "My partner is not eating with me, at first I thought I did something wrong." Wayne explained: "I have to lose weight, every meal I can only eat two bananas. Maggie has a sharp chin, my single face equals two Maggie faces!"

The series just started shooting, asked if Wayne has enough physical strength by just eating bananas? He said: "I can handle it! Apes are so big and all they eat are bananas. I really am fat, compared to No Regrets I am 10 pounds heavier." Wayne helplessly expressed that Maggie will have to continue to be lonely eating by herself, Maggie laughed: "Last night, I only drank two cups of milk, hope to get chubbier to match him!"

When speaking of Chan Kwok Keung taking over TVB, Maggie at first could not think of who he was, until reporters mentioned 'Shell King' that she remembered. She said: "Company management and administration matters, I believe there won't be too much of an affect. I am not worried and believe that the change in shareholders do not affect per show contracted artists like me. I have confidence in TVB's future, we can collaborate again."

Yesterday Maggie Cheung was trying out costumes for TVB series Forensic Heroes III and did not hesitate to cut off her long hair that she grew for several years. However, she laughed: "Actually my hair could be shorter, but didn't want to go too far." Producer Miu Siu Ching had nothing but praises for her: "Maggie is really good, we are so rushed and she's still willing to help out, so professional!" Getting praised by the producer, Maggie modestly expressed: "In fact, when they asked me, I was very surprised, I know they were in a huge rush. I'm also very familiar with Siu Ching and under this coincidental opportunity I accepted this series." Maggie described this as her "most rushed, most excited and have the most new challenge" yet.

Regarding lead actor and 'multi-TV King' Wayne Lai, Maggie expressed many years ago she collaborated with him in A Road and A Will and earlier they worked on Lunar New Year film I Love Hongkong together too. She joked: "I also hope to stick onto his prosperity!" Asked if she would be taller than Wayne? She laughed: "In fact, we didn't even think about this qstion, but before when I was shooting a series, wearing long clothing and dress, I was still not as tall as him. It should be okay. (Have to accommodate him?) Don't say it like that, I rarely accommodate my co-stars, for this series, I should be wearing heels that are only an inch high."

Also, Maggie expresses that she hopes Charmaine Sheh will get well soon. Asked if minds being the replacement? Maggie expressed she didn't think about that: "Actually someone will have to do it, coincidentally the timing was right for me. So I accepted the job!"

Initially Charmaine Sheh rushed back from Mainland to Hong Kong to shoot Forensic Heroes III (FH3), but because she accidentally slipped and fell on the ice, she got her joint dislocated. She will have to be in a cast for 6 weeks and was forced to withdraw from taking part in the new series. As the leading actress, Charmaine withdrew on short notice, and the new series already started shooting, Producer Miu Siu Ching is in a great hurry to find her a replacement. Eventually she chose Maggie Cheung to replace Charmaine.

Yesterday Maggie accepted a telephone interview and said: "TVB especially came to find me for this rushed issue, there is no choice, we are all very rushed, but it is a coincidence that it's the right time and a good opportunity. Yesterday Siu Ching Jeh called me to discuss with me for about an hour. Currently, I haven't read the script yet, hopefully both sides will be able to cooperate."

Initially Maggie was suppose to go earn some extra income for the promotion of Lunar New Year film I Love Hongkong in Mainland, but now that she has to replace Charmaine on short notice, she'll have to turn down her other jobs. Maggie said: "This is no big deal, not going to go think about the losses. Will be working on this series for 4 months."

Maggie exposed that back then for Forensic Heroes, she was also invited to participate, but at the time it did not fit on her schedule, so she was not able to participate. She said: "This time, it is my first time as a coroner and it's been many years since I collaborated with Wayne Lai, I believe there will be new sparks."

Also, part of the cast to FH3, Nancy Wu and Aimee Chan were in Mong Kok to record for a Lunar New Year special program. Nancy expressed that although for the new series, there is a change in actresses, the shooting process has not been affected. Nancy expressed it's a pity the opportunity to work with Charmaine is gone, she said: "I haven't collaborated with Charmaine before, we have no fate. I hope to have another opportunity in the future." Nancy also wrote on Weibo expressing that this is her first time collaborating with 'TV Queen' Maggie Cheung, she hopes to have a pleasant collaboration. As for Aimee, she was looking forward in working with Charmaine, but no one can predict accidents, she hopes Charmaine will get well soon and have good health.

Michelle Yim attended to the promotion of "BKNP" yesterday and expressed genres of series are always related to love, career, and family etc. But even the settings are similar? She said: "I didn't watch 'Ugly Betty.' Actually, it's just like 'The Legend of Condor Heroes.' There are many remakes. Most importantly, it has been improved." TVB's "Mysteries of Love" earlier was accused of plagiarizing Japanese drama "Galileo." As for TVB has been accused of plagiarism many times and has no creativity, Michelle said: "Actors are the most important ones. Actors' good performance, good image, it's another type of performing. Anyways, I said all the genres can't leave out love, career, and family." Maggie Cheung said she watched "Ugly Betty" and admitted some parts are similar, she said: "But our setting is prettier. It's most important for viewers to relate to the characters. Over all, we're not alike."
